well, I am happy they do this but I don't like it when the skin looks like plastic, because the film grain is gone. I am sure when you add film grain on top it's better.

We got lucky with Hung Up cos they already had a HD master laying around, or at least a version that was higher quality than the distributed video. I remember a few clips leaking. I hope they have some other newer videos in that quality.

so it is an upscale as they said?  i don't expect a 4k update (unless its a video after 2000) but it def looks better than the last version, at least i can see her face clear now  her team won't get a new webmaster so i'm fine for now, i'm shocked the current webmaster is trying at least, he's an amateur

I'd say this is the tape master upscaled and looks like it and looks good for what it is. I seriously doubt we will get film negative 4K releases, because I am convinced the original videos were edited to tape and I doubt they will go back to the film source and re-edit it.
