I think it's more likely that the 80s singles will make up part of the re-issues of the 80s albums, she'll own the rights to everything up to 1987 by the time of her 40th anniversary, so I would expect re-releases of Madonna, Like A Virgin, True Blue and You Can Dance to coincide.

I think the 80's mixes will get a release but there seems to have been a change in approach since the Like A Prayer release. 

It felt like they were testing the waters up until that point. Now someone has seen the job is does for her streaming numbers and additional revenue and they are scouring for seemingly ALL the versions. That's certainly the case with Like A Prayer / Frozen / Bedtime Story & LDLHA. I have faith that the additional Fever remixes will appear on the Rain release. 

Someone somewhere is probably compiling additional content for the 80s singles. I think the lead with those will be less about the streaming versions and more about the HD videos.

Apart from my own OCD about the singles being in beautiful chronological order for every release on Spotify, there is zero milage in releasing an Into The Groove or The Look Of Love Single EP. 

The Look Of Love will likely be tacked onto the Spotlight mixes which I'm sure will be released

Can't Stop will likely be tacked onto Who's That Girl for additional Value

Causing A Commotion probably has enough to form a mini EP on it's own. 

I can potentially see the Who's That Girl singles being padded out by fade versions of the You Can Dance remixes and maybe the single edits. 

Angel / Into The Groove is most likely. 

Ain't No Big Deal belongs with something from the debut really even though it was a Papa Dont Preach B side. 

I'd love it if they dug out the commissioned and unused 12" mix Like A Virgin done by Nile Rogers. That would be a real gem to have.

 

I would like the original first three albums to reappear on streaming. That way there's a market for the single EP's. They made a start with Dress You Up. We'll see. 

Now are Fever and LDLHA happening next month now or what then eh?
