The differences are maybe because of the source and/or tape transfer?

I think nothing from 1989 onwards has been remastered because there is technically no need to.

Yes, all of them are the same edit but from different transfers at different times, hence the very slight speed differences. I think the same issues happened with other older tracks too.

Otherwise, they could also release Into the Groove separately:

I think Into The Groove is a big enough song to get it's own release TBH but there's literally nothing but the original version to put on it. These releases are in their original forms so I cant see the YCD edits being included so yeah probably Angel / Into The Groove though I love the ITG artwork so I'd be happy with it alone.

Not a fan of the 7” Remix or the 12” Remix of Burning Up.

 

the Video Version/Album version is most people’s go to since it was used in the video that MTV played all the time.

 

It was so weird to me when I heard the remix.

 

Bummer they didn’t include the Alternate as that’s a hybrid of the Video Version/Remix.

 

Saying it is probably saved for an album reissue doesn’t make sense as every version of a song should be up on streaming in its Digital Single EP.

 

The people who buy album reissues will buy the physical item regardless if it is up for streaming on a Digital Single.

They could technically give us the official instrumental (same for Crazy for You) which is unreleased to this very day. The video version length-wise is a typical 7" Edit but I doubt they'll release that.

The version of Everybody that was included as b-side on the Into the Groove single is the original album fade which hasn't been included on any of the digital versions or any pressing of "Madonna" released since 2001.

Agreed,the upscale is kinda distorted at some faces,I'm gonna give my personal upscale in worse quality but better image remaining in my opinion

It's bizarre that they've obviously lost or destroyed all the original artworks. You'd think they'd all be stored in an archive.

It's not 1998, what's with that message. If they really want to surprise people with these releases, make them available worldwide at the same time instead of doing regular midnight releases for each country.

The fact that they worry about that and not about a proper remastering or including all the proper versions, well. A choice.

01, 03 and 05 seem to be just the 2001 remasters, same masters.

02 is the remix edit but remastered. It's LOUD.

04 is not the You Can Dance Single Edit, it's a different master and seems to be the original one. It's not remastered. Way quieter than all the rest.

Her pre-"You Can Dance" 80s material seems to be cursed on digital, I guess.

Little shocked that this is going for $2.99.  That was my basis in why PA probably wouldn't be included as I thought being at that price we'd get about three tracks max and they'd stick to the BU mixes.  Anyway, glad PA gets more exposure.  It deserves it.
