they took an image, captured and edited by a FAN, off the internet, for this banner!

do they not have access to the original photograph?!?

you can still see the reflection of the Mylar in the bottom of the image. The fan didn’t even fully desaturate the yellow reflection out lol

They're not doing this for the fans. They're doing it for Internet presence and streaming figures. Wrong credits are easy to correct. No big deal at all.

Back in the days, record companies were organized differently. Maxi-singles and promo/DJ releases were managed by specific teams, so it's understandable some info might be missing since these divisions have totally disappeared. There was no Internet, no centralized database. It was all floppy disks and paper print-outs. There were so many issues of Fever, depending on the territory, that dubs and mixes and single versions might have been mislabeled.

Blame Warner, not M's team.

Fans are treated with expensive collectibles and more expensive vinyl reissues.

It’s not exactly hard to find out though is it? Literally all the information is there on Discogs. Warner/Rhino are just LAZY fuckers, I can only imagine this entire account is being run interns
