If you're a movie geeks you knew that this youtube channel.

This is movie channel and The channel is talking about Madonna this time, the best video ever made by a non-Madonna fan. Or perhaps even more sincere and knew about Madonna than some Madonna fans.

The channel's handling of Madonna is so unexpected that I suspect Warner Music is behind this.

It's a 36 minute video and it's very interesting. I highly recommend it to you guys.

This was a great video. I wished that they mentioned how the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes referencing in Material Girl reappeared during the performance on the Rebel Heart Tour, how the ponytail was meant to be a feminine juxtaposition to the more masculine JPG pant suit in Blond Ambition and how while Madonna herself towed the line between masculine and feminine she also played into androgyny on the Girlie Show through the dancers with their buzzcuts and clothing and most notably through Carrie Ann Inaba.

This channel is one of my faves. She's so incredibly thorough and I found out a lot of things I had never known,even being a Madonna fan for several years.

Here is the link to a well made 36 minutes long documentary about Madonna's career cinematic references, full of archive materials and analytic enough to be interesting about the values of the figures she choose to cite, from Monroe to Dietrich, from Parlo to Lang to French 60s movies. It's a nice vid, especially about the good old days
