It's a Celebration compilation all over again.

Also, isn't You Can Dance already available in all streaming services?

“AND You Can Dance”

How many dance #1's has she had? Isn't it 50. I assumed were getting a compilation of all the 12" mixes of her songs that hit #1 on the dance chart. Isn't that what she is talking about. Not some You Can Dance release

Or she could be quoting lyrics from into the groove?

Yeah this isn't about You Can Dance because she mentions the 50 #1 milestone. Maybe a 2022 version of You Can dance

¡Mirar!

I know fucking well Madonna is here in this forum, just using some stan name to take notes.

IF YOU ARE HERE, WE WANT BAD GIRL IN 4K PLEASE.

If tihs was true she would give us a proper version of the fuckin' RIT. She posted a video on her insta of the Lisbon footage. She knows we are craving for that.... She doesn't give a shit.

She's literally just quoting Into the Groove. I mean she's telling us she's giving us a compilation (or whatever it is) of her 50 #1s so we can dance. Nothing to do with You Can Dance the album.

You partypooper. ;)

But I think you're right. In her Instagram stories, she's listening to Music (Deep Dish remix), Holiday, Material Girl, Nothing Really Matters (Club 69 remix) and some horror, probably Me Against The Music. (Never bought the single so I know nothing about those remixes)

However. I'm guessing we'll get some sort of "Greatest Remix Hits 1982-2009" or something like that, since she can't use the Interscope stuff yet, but hey! She has plenty of stuff to choose from from the Warner era. :)

I hope she'll release a box set or something like that for Record Store Day.

Heaven forbid we'll just get a new playlist on Spotify! :D

Surely the title of this will be something to do with the number 1’s as that’s the concept huh?

“One -  Madonna”

“Numero Uno”

Or something like that.

Though I’d like something from one of her songs like You Can Dance.

She could also name it “Dancing Queen”. ?

Why? If they're not the full remixes (and I doubt they will be) and it's a mixed 75-80 minute thing it can easily fit on CD and have a physical release.

Let's see what happens!

I feel like they'll do a comprehensive compilation to tie in with the biop... visual biography! This could be a cute streaming exclusive with a few of the not yet released remixes and a couple of new additions like Sickick etc. Also, if they were to go with a full release, the timeline would be later in the year with vinyl production still causing issues.

Let's see indeed. I'm just glad she's mining her back catalogue at long last.

Of course, there's no way there's gonna be a vinyl version if they're currently mixing it, at least not in the next 6 months.  But CDs are cheap and easier to manufacture, they can do a CD version and have it out in a month maximum.

Let's see! Exciting times, anyway, always good to have something from her in the pipeline.

How did Vogue spend the same number of weeks at #1 as Jump did? I would've thought it would've spent  4 or 5 like Hung Up and Music!

My bet for this release is March-April. Basically the time to finish to rework the songs, and around one month (?) for CDs printing and it's ready to drop (with vynils in preorder and dropping a few months later), I hope it won't get too long, bitch dropped a bomb like this and then said "soon", don't let us wait this time :nope:

I hadn't read the other multiple threads discussing this before I posted the list. Sorry to be such an inconvenience.

Hey, I appreciated the listing!  And I wouldn't listen to much criticism from the person whose big dream for this announcement is digital unmixed YCD mixes that are relatively easy to find already.  I mean, we all want what we want from the reissues, but...dream bigger, girl!

Where exactly are they so easy to find? The unmixed versions are only available on promo vinyl and have never leaked in digital quality….
