Florence Pugh on the list to play Madonna in upcoming biopic

Madonna just confirmed that Academy Award nominee Florence Pugh is 'on the list' to play her in the upcoming biopic.

According to David Banda, the film is going to be "raw, gritty and very honest"

She also says it’s still in the writing stages. Which means they are way off casting anyway.

I seriously wouldn't be surprised, and i'm not even kidding, if Madonna gives the part to her daughter Lourdes. Now if Lola would accept or not is another story but i wouldn't be surprised m asks Lola first.

Just my personnal impression. I kinda notice when she tries to be polite about something or someone . Maybe i'm wrong, time will tell. I bet in the end she will cast a underground actress that almost no one knows.

I think she’s just evasive because it’s too early to make that decision.

Because he's only 16 years old and shouldn't be in the spotlight yet.

Also, I don't think he should be commenting about her mother's next career steps. Another thing would have been to ask him about the Madama X tour screening - which, obviously, he attended and he must have an opinion - but about the biopic ... I don't think he is the right person. Hope it makes sense!
