Found this one today, right up front when i entered a Fnac shop this evening.

The tracklist is made of songs she covered live throughout her career.

It's not just this one, Fnac is also selling many other unofficial vinyls as exclusive

(she's not the only one, Jackson, Bowie, Nirvana etc...they all have unofficial albums sold there as Fnac vinyl exclusive)

Anyone have them? What’s the quality?

honestly? I don't even wanna try, I won't give my money to a cheap cashgrab. By information on the covers of the LPs I have seen in front of me, these "live" shows are mostly FM broadcasts, then YouTube rips transfered to vinyl. if that gives you an idea.

They are a large chain and not some obscur shop. This is totally unofficial material and it's even sold under "fnac vinyle selection" label. My question is, regarding the fact that they are a major chain, and apparently judging by the testimonies above it's happenning in other chain stores like HMV, i wonder how they get away with this. It's not Camden market, Clignancourt flea market or Ventimiglia market and they are not hidden in the back but very upfront. Since you spend so much time on Discogs i thought maybe you'd be interested in knowing how they can do this and what it says about record companies nowadays (they obviously can't control anything anymore).

Saw the "Under The Covers" vinyl the other day.

The vinyl boom is obviously a huge opportunity for crooks targeting collectors. There used to be so many unofficial CDs back in  the days, so it's no surprise.

Haha, who's willing to pay for Youtube rips pressed on vinyl?

Ca fait peur. It says a lot about the state of record companies. I stepped into la Fnac les Halles and it's the first thing you see when you not only enter the records section but the whole store.

In fact these records get blocked in discogs for being counterfeit
