Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones

Recommended Posts

I am always excited for anything new that Madonna releases to the fans - but am a little bit bummed that it is not NEW music and it just being another - "Greatest Hits Collection" being released! Same music, same songs, same "they all sound alike" remixes.....

Don't get me wrong, I am excited for this but just wish it was something fresh and new!

I'm willing to bet there will be a ballads collection down the road. These reissues are gonna sell like hot cakes and they will milk her discography to no end. And I don't think they'll just simply reissue Something To Remember; I think it will be a collection of her ballads/mid tempo singles.

Deluxe Edition:

Side A:

1. Crazy For You

2. Live To Tell

3. La Isla Bonita

4. The Look of Love

5. Oh Father

Side B:

6. Sooner Or Later

7. This Used To Be My Playground

8. Bad Girl

9. Rain

Side C:

10. I'll Remember

11. Secret

12. Take A Bow

13. You'll See

14. Don't Cry For Me Argentina

15. You Must Love Me

Side D:

16. Frozen

17. Drowned World/Substitute For Love

18. The Power of Goodbye

19. What It Feels Like For A Girl

Side E:

20. Nothing Fails

21. Miles Away

22. Masterpiece

23. Ghosttown

24. Crave

Standard Edition:

1. Crazy For You

2. Live To Tell

3. La Isla Bonita

4. Oh Father

5. Sooner Or Later

6. This Used To Be My Playground

7. Rain

8. Take A Bow

9. Don't Cry For Me Argentina

10.Frozen

11. The Power of Goodbye

12.  What It Feels Like For A Girl

13. Miles Away

14. Masterpiece

15. Ghosttown

16. Crave

I want this!

"Shiny and new" is wonderful but this feels right for a fortieth anniversary celebration.

Red vinyl on Walmart?:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Madonna-Finally-Enough-Love-Walmart-Exclusive-Vinyl/419877357?athbdg=L1100&fbclid=IwAR30n9kYKjlPIzx04gTJz1Yl4MIAdY6XrwykNVz3N5ikGRnzB6tEGdjAWwA&r=yes&action=SignIn&rm=true

I wonder if it is different from the other red ones?

With MDNA they were the ones selling the "clean" version...

I wonder if there's an "explicit" remix... "Bitch I'm Madonna" maybe?

Same red LP different sticker I guess.

Yep, just like Sainbury's exclusive = FNAC exclusive. The only difference is sticker.

The Sainsbury's exclusive comes with a Sainsbury's carrier bag, huge difference! ;)

I just can't believe she's releasing a Greatest Hits album full of songs we've already heard before. I just hope there are no old songs on the deluxe editions or I'm going to be forced to moan about it forever!

Is it nearly August yet? :)

Well to be fair, this includes almost all the singles that came out after Celebration and most of the post 80s tracks are remixed drastically different than the album versions.

Of course we weren't getting any new music since she spent a year editing that damn tour and now she's focused on the biopic.

I personally think this collection is much better than yet another GH collection.

Don't worry, we'll get Candy Shop featuring Dua Lipa and Human Nature featuring Cardi B on the deluxe editions.

What I find a little bit curious is that they think that the general public would be open to a three disc 6 vinyl remix collection ...but wouldn't issue a standard 3 disc greatest hits of the versions the general public would actually know. Like...all those ballads and midtempo's that were just ditched.

My take is that the abridged version is for the general public and the deluxe is for the devotees (and both are for the hardcore obsessives).

Besides, do casual fans of any artist buy CDs or vinyl these days? I think not when streaming is so popular.

Finally, why release a standard greatest hits when streaming playlists take care of that these days?

Fifty dance number ones is a milestone worth capitalizing on (even if the chart was lame, easy to dominate, and probably corrupt like the rest of Billboard), especially for Madonna who has given a lot to the genre.

Please, no. Too basic, too obvious.
Besides, I think it’s enough that Kylie’s been whoring herself on Gaga and Dua releases recently.
It feels beneath Madonna to release guest features for her own back catalogue.

This misogynistic comment. 😒 Also, have we forgotten the Frozen remixes already? Lol
