Does anyone have any idea when we can expect a release? can we also acknowledge how fucking incredible it is that Madonna has 50 number ones on the dance charts, that stat is mind boggling and will likely never be beaten, especially if she continues adding to it in the future. I hope that 2022 will be a great year to celebrate her legacy.

There would probably legal issues if she were to release cover songs like: DCFMA or American Pie again, aside from the fact that she hates the latter.

I don’t think it’s a megamix guys the tracks are not over laped. That would be a different set up workstation wise.

But they can be selecting the parts of the original mixes they like or think will work best together and then the space between the tracks will be deleted later when they start mixing them all together.  Part 1 would be selecting the clips they want from the originals and part 2 doing the transitions between them.

Yes like I said it could just be part of the process..but I do this procedure myself and you really need to get messy first and play with the tracks to see what works. You don’t just chose them and press go. 
 

Honey may well be there for this part of the journey though to hear or help make the selections with a DJ ear. It’s just … 50 tracks!!! That’s a bloody mamouth task. 

Be nice if it is a DJ segued mix …as long as there’s a confessions unmixed style version too. 
We’ll see I spose eh.

It’s also not out of the realms of reality that there will be a 4 cd box set. 3 CD’s with edits of the historic mixes and a fourth disc of .120 minute DJ mix. 
This seems more realistic than 50 mixed tracks.

I can’t see any over lap with the tracks and he’s using an Oxford EQ plug in which would add up. 

I doubt she hires him as a mastering engineer. That's not his job. He's too expensive for this.

They're probably upgrading the remixes and editing them like Shep did for TIC.

Legal issues would occur only if she released the songs without licensing them but I don't see how this could happen. If not, it's just regular business between labels.

I hope Madonna won't give in to the TikTok generation too much by releasing short edits that hardly breach the 3-minute mark. I know short can be sweet, but I want these remixes to linger and I want to revel in their sound. There might be a direct correlation between a song going viral on TikTok and it gaining in popularity on music streaming platforms, but personally I have always prefered songs that clock in at around 5 minutes.
