i wonder if madonna com usa is really sold out or if it is a marketing tactic.

i realize today that i paid 50 for the lithograph promo flat when the 2 disc was 30 i could have just bought that and stuck it in a frame. lmao oh well maybe the litho is numbered or something, haha. i am not trying to collect every single copy this time just the box set but i like the standards art. also i was wondering last night did playground not hit number 1? someone remix used to be my playground and put on youtube i love that song lol

Definitely a tactic. Not only it says "coming soon" but also if they have sold out 6.000 copies of a deluxe box at 150 $ each in less than 24 hours, that would be truly amazing.

I find weird that the 6LP box doesn't make the stores worldwide, maybe it's a distribution issue or it's too expensive to move around or whatever.

Yeah, cancelling pre-orders or items that haven’t shipped yet is very easy across all Amazon affiliates. You’re not charged until it actually ships either, in my experience.

I really was under the impression we were getting 50 brand new remixes, so I'm feeling a bit disappointed. On the whole I think this remix collection has little flesh and I think the choice of including/excluding certain remixes is quite debatable. Why choose the rather basic Calderone & Quayle remix of Hollywood over the sublime Jacques lu Cont remix? But hey, you can't please everyone. I do hope the deluxe reissues of Madonna's studio albums will feature more remixes.

Agreed but tbh it will also be nice to have individual tracks to add to my already massive Madonna remixes streaming list in the long run. Really enjoyed the new edit sound of Into The Groove.

With Amazon you can cancel any order until the very last minute, even if it's an amazon order you can send it back and they take it.

I pre-ordered stuff before that I found online cheaper and cancelled it on the last minute.

Fantastic news to wake up to! And the timing couldn't be more perfect after the Medellín meltdowns, haha.

I think whoever was in charge of the tracklist did a great job picking the most significant remixes. "Causing A Commotion" was already represented in the recent RSD release, so no complaints here.

As for the artwork, I'm sure both covers will look amazing on vinyl. I quite like the (intentional?) nods to Madame X and Celebration, respectively. The CD liner notes and the 12-page LP booklet are also much appreciated.

Overall, you can tell there was thought and care put into this project, which makes me anticipate the upcoming reissues even more. Finally enough love, indeed ❤️.

Holiday is the 4:20 , LAV and Material Girl are the album versions.
Open Your Heart is the edit from TIC Video compilation, "never released as audio before."
Keep it together is the single mix (sic) “reworked to have a unique intro and outro from the 12” remix’
