Wow... that is a huge jump!  Thanks so much for sharing.  Can you imagine what will happen next week when Vulgar drops?

Here's the zillion dollar question...

I think only with Popular in the next few days 😅😉

Really?  You think she'll be able to achieve that just with Popular?  That's like another 60 point jump?  Exciting if so!  So then, what could that mean once Vulgar is released?

Unfortunately since Vulgar leaked, it may not have the same streaming impact, but we'll see?

The Weeknd is #1 overall on Spotify, with 105M monthly listeners. Sam Smith is #25, with 57M, amazing too.

The combination of both songs next week can put Madonna easily above 30M - and that's being conservative.

I think we're seeing things with her in the next few weeks that we never expected or could imagine months ago.

We deserve it, we've been here forever! Good things come for those who wait...

I’d be curious to know if that helped other tracks from her catalog reach new highs (or maybe in the coming days)…

That would be the only good thing out of this since nothing about Popular is ‘Madonna’.

Hoping it brings better streaming #’s to her own classics.

But she isn’t. It’s Abel.

I do think it will make a lot of younger people start checking out her own music, so it’s a win win :)

You do realise that Shakira or Sia or many others (not only female artists) don’t achieve such numbers on their own ?… That’s how it works nowadays 🤷🏻‍♂️

Like you said, if it helps a new audience discover her music, that’s fine :)

Oh, I totally get that. I think this is definitely a good thing for her. I just wish I liked the track as much as others seem to be.

I am just not into anyone’s featuring’s, for the most part.

And it will much like what Sickick's Frozen did.  Again, I can't wait to see the numbers in the coming days to show this massive impact.  I have a feeling this is going to be one "hot" summer for her.  Drop the Max Martin collab and it might just go through the roof.  (Wishful thinking. LOL).

I just realised that, due to the fact that the song was not released at midnight in each territory, it might not have appeared in Release Radar playlists yet (at least not in mine), but it might pop up later or next Friday… hopefully 🤞🏻

Is Popular in your Release Radar playlists?

It's so frustrating. On French Deezer, I always get Friday recommendations the week after.
