True. But only "Material Girl" and "Like A Prayer" would benefit from that and "Material" would still be her #1 song.

Why it seems like she's free falling lately?

The slowing down of her two viral trends for months, "Frozen" Sickick and "Material Girl" is affecting her numbers now. But in the long term, she's much better than a year ago (13-15M monthly listeners vs. now 20M).

Could an official release of "Back That Up To The Beat" help in creating another viral hit?

Well, maybe.. or maybe not. This is no "Frozen" remix situation and the trend was promising on TikTok but didn't truly explode in the end. Currently there's only an unofficial version out:

And it has 114.298 streams in 10 days. Good but not amazing.

Now back to her:

- "You Can Dance (Single Edits)":

Slowly, but it starts to have healthy numbers now. "Everybody" is now at 66.219 streams and "Spotlight" 39.311. The least streamed tracks are now at 19.000.

- "Finally Enough Love":

Three new peaks today: "Me Against The Music" remix is +300.000 streams, "Celebration" remix hits 9M and "Medellín" remix is now 3M.

Yes, but sadly we don’t have public numbers for any other platform apart from Spotify, only YouTube. :( Apple Music, TIDAL, Deezer, etc. don’t make the numbers available for everyone, only for the labels and artists themselves.

her playlist reach has declined so ofc her listeners declined too, spotify made sure to reduce her reach by 20M the last months, she already had low reach compared to others btw

for comparison, whitney has 250M playlist reach and madonna has 157M, 100M less, that's a lot, but madonna still outstreams, that means madonna has more royal listeners

Spotify is very clever in marketing their platform, doesn't mean their numbers reflect overall listeners.

Well, of course Spotify is not all the market, but it's the biggest music streaming platform in the world, with 165M paying subscribers and 33,37% of the market - Apple Music 2nd with 88M subscribers and 17,8% of the music streaming market. Both of them together are more than half the market.

Amazon Music is 13,75% and YouTube 10,11%.
