Like you, I do not treat dance floor music as the hill of all hills to die on, unlike many of Madonna's gay fans who just seem to have some insatiable desire for the stuff. Take the Confessions album for example, it is definitely a great record but I find it laughable how anyone could ever rate it in her top 3. Evita has always been underrated, her vocals never sounded better and there is some very strong songwriting, the fact that Evita is a soundtrack contributes to why it is somewhat disregarded.

It is an amazing album however for me the Evita soundtrack loses some points because aside from You Must Love Me it's just an album of cover versions. Along with ROL and LAP; I think I do rate Confessions in my top 3, I don't mind being laughed at for that either ;)

I can't really rank mine, they all meant different things to me at different times in my life. I love them all in their own way, just some I love more than others lol
