Madame X has been described by both critics and fans as one of Madonna’s best-ever creative albums and tours. In this first instalment of a 2-part book series we explore the cultural diversity of music styles, the artists and the places of the city of Lisbon that greatly inspired Madonna to create Madame X. It begins from when Madonna made Lisbon her home in 2017 and the book becomes a tourist itinerary of Lisbon’s locations and the melting-pot of music styles from which Madame X was born. The Madame X Tour that followed in 2019 to early 2020 was truly compelling and unique.

A 264 page about Madame x album ? 🥴🤔 definitely a hard pass for me thank you but I’m sure other fans love it so enjoy 😘

I don't think it's a book about the album, it's more of a tourist itinerary of Lisbon and locations that Madonna may have visited and the melting-pot of music styles from which the album was born.

Lol try being an MDNA stan then we'll talk. At least MX had live performances and tons of press :(

Well that’s actually a bad album that she contributed very very little to. It’s not underrated at all, it’s rated at the quality it should be :Madonna009:

Not at all, actually says alot more than MX thats for sure. I will give credit to MX though for being both too on the nose and being vague AF at the same. Hard to do!

its not being mean - this album didnt resonate with a lot of fans and no time will mean its classic madonna for a lot of us - just get over it ?

Maybe you should stop entering every Madame X thread just to shit on it. Why would you comment on something you hate time and time again. Bizarre behavior

I really have two Madonna albums that mainly I don´t connect with and are too long and without warm or soul for me: they are Erotica and Madame x. Of course not everything is bad about them but in the case of Madame x, it´s true it´s a never ending era, and not a very beutiful one. I desesperately need Madonna to move forward.

I have to disagree with you, alot of fans seem to praise it because its "different" but i feel its very much how gaga fans praise her Joanne and Jazz era. I don't particularly dislike MX but the moment i saw that teaser and heard that tired old mirwais sound it was not gonna be anything special.

the promotion was awful but that album is godsent, no matter if she never records anything again, she proved in the end that she is at her best when she just follows her gut. MX is really one of her best records, yes BIL and FG should not be heard ever again but the majority of the record is just fabulous. Rating Music this week for curtain's poll made me realize mirwais is really the quintessential M producer
