The duet for Streisand was going to happen for her 1993 Back To Broadway album. They had been recently together on tv (SNL) but it seems for schedule reasons, it was not possible at the end. Streisand reprised her idea for her Third broadway album on 2016, this time with Melissa Manchester.

The song is Anything you can do I can do a better: a comical duet about competition, very funny, with customed lyrics. I would have been fun!

That’s was Melissa McCarthy! It should have been Manchester! Now that would have been real!

I my memory serves me well, Madonna was supposed to play the singer in Bodyguard, and when Kevin Kostner met Madonna backstage after a show in In Bed With Madonna, he says something like "That other thing isnt happening", he told her she didn't get the part. That's why she pretended to stick her finger down her throat.

Regarding Veronica Electronica, Madonna said in an interview that she didn't want to go back in the studio and rework the songs, which I think is a pity. It would have been amazing.

Oh yes!!

Did she turn down Sinatra? What happened?

She mentioned in an interview I can't pinpoint at the moment. Maybe Molly Meldrum's Girlie Show interview? Sinatra's people wanted them to record separately and then put it together and she wasn't feeling that. A shame.

Mmmhm... I thought from the press at the time that "Veronica Electronica" was going to be just a remix album with some remixes from the era plus others from William Orbit (the full version of "Ray Of Light" maybe?), etc. But maybe that's only my impression. :-)

Pet Shop Boys producing "Hard Candy"

This lady really turned down Sinatra and Streisand but worked with LMFAO. I can't take her!🤣

PSB for Hard Candy??? It’s a joke right?

lol coz back in the time I remember she wasn’t interested in duets or featured artists… 💀💀💀

She was originally going to work with them after Confessions on what ended up being Hard Candy. Warner withdrew that invitation and she worked with US producers on the album to corner the one market that was the only place Confessions wasn't a huge hit.

I would have loved to hear what she would have come up with Robert Miles around the recording of ROL. Same with Trent Reznor. Two rumored producers at the time that got me so excited.

Re-Invention Tour Broadcast and Release

Album with the band she used for The Girlie Show (the best band she ever had for her live shows)

Quentin Tarantino directing a video for 'Gang Bang'

Having Sasha produce some of the tracks for the Music album  (such a disappointment that did not result in something more than an abandoned track with no vocals)

The Matrix and Casino

The MDNA tour filming for the DVD in a stadium at one of the South American locations (got changed to Miami)

Tears of a Clown show in Australia not being made available in full

I didn't know that but what a pity it didn't materialize because I'm sure this director would have overcome the brutality shown in the American Life video that remains Madonna's most violent video to date. That not even God Control could overcome and less so with such fake blood (it seems that Madonna smeared lipstick all over her face) and where the violence happens so quickly and for a few seconds that it fails to impact the viewer and make him reflect. If only Madonna had summoned Tarantino for God Control, I'm sure this director would have shown more drama in the bloody scenes (for example, Madonna hiding in the bathroom covered in blood in her desire to survive and then confronting the murderer) and managed to transmit with greater force the message that I feel was not achieved in the final video due to the rush of the images.

But this was never abandoned cause it didn't even start, she just said it in a couple of interviews. She wanted Tarantino to make a video for her for free and of course nothing happened and she did "Turn Up The Radio" with Tom Munro (her friend) in Italy instead.
