That’s not all. Madonna will return to the late night show for the fifth time on August 10 in celebration of her upcoming compilation album, Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones. The Queen of Pop leads a slew of Superstar Super Summer lineup guests including Sterling K. Brown, Elvis Costello, Idris Elba, Kate McKinnon, Martin Short and more.   https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/megan-thee-stallion-demi-lovato-co-host-tonight-show-1235122581/

Could have done without the everybody is dead schtick tbh. Felt a bit disrespectful to be laughing at that but otherwise better than recent appearances. I do miss her intelligence in interviews though. It feels like she’s boxed herself into this corner of being deliberately base and wild which is a bit of a bore. But yeah it was cute enough.  The fucking basque holding her in and making the girls look huge again has to go!

Can’t believe Madonna’s “weight gain” is being dissected. She looks healthy to me. And happier these days. Gay men especially need to move on from this expectation that everybody must be ripped like a Calvin Klein model in order to be worthy of existence. It’s important to be healthy yes but there are more things to life than the gym and torsos. Sometimes it’s healthier for your mental health to let go and live a little too especially at Madonna’s point in life. Some fans really are just pr

Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga really is the worst thing that ever happened to fashion. It's not even fashion. I don't call fashion basic sportswear with a logo on it sold for thousands, fashion.  Compare these ugly sweatpants by Demna for Balenciaga to the dresses Madonna wore during the promo of Ray Of Light designed by Nicolas Ghesquières for Balenciaga and you get your history of fashion class. On tp of that what Demna does has nothing to do with what Sr Cristobal Balenciaga did (balloon dresses). I hate this cheap trend of having huge logos all over basic clothes. It's vulgar.

I love the box set they were holding ? I’m kind of tempted to buy it now as I love that sunglasses cover

interview was what I expected - Fallon fumbling and thinking up stupid questions we’ve heard many times over - I really don’t understand how he has a show - he’s a terrible interviewer- no comments on M as apparently we aren’t allowed to criticise her now 40 years into her career 🙄

Her eyes were gorgeous. Nothing new with the grills. But regardless, good to see her at almost 64 still being Madonna. The dead joke was honestly something I’d expect as her humor sometimes is awkward and hard.

Love the 2 of them together, ever since their first time for MDNA promotion.

The "dead" joke was something she spontaneously used a few years back at the Graham Norton show in the UK, when he asked her where is the young girl that was on the photo with young madonna now (the girl won the singing competition and madonna lost), and M replied "she's dead now". To which Norton replied "Ooh, a mysterious playground accident".

That time the joke really was hilarious and everyone was cracking up,  but now.. meh. I guess she thought it was going to work well the second time as well but it was manufactured and not spontaneous

pros: the box set looked amazing, the thing at the beginning where jimmy name dropped tons of singles and they showed the single art was AMAZING promo, madonna was up to her old Scthick, classic late night M television. cute segment for

music.

cons: she always wears questionable style choices  on this program so i am used to it. remember that "art" shirt. lmao. the jnco pants are cray cray.

The "Music" performance was very cute actually.

"My teeth are ugly" and "Everyone from back then is dead"... I wanted to give her a hug. I reaaaally want her to do a podcast or some form of extended interview where she talks about the last 20 years. I know everyone wants the biopic and is fascinated with her origin story. But the ride since American Life has been such a roller coaster and really made her who she is today. I would love to hear her speak about what she was really going through. The good, bad and ugly. Whenever she's ready I'm all ears.
