for the casual listener it was practically hidden and difficult to access it... the release date they entered dates back to 07/26, I think it's a tactic implemented by Beyoncé's team to make REN appear as the latest release on her Spotify page, they did it also with the EP of the other BMS remixes

The release has been a little bit shady - as most things with B, honestly. Release on a Friday evening, instead of the regular midnight release, so it didn't make the most important playlists: Release Radar and New Music Friday. No big release is out that way, ever. Looks like she wants all the help she can get for the main version of "Break My Soul" BUT without overshadowing that version. She does want a US #1 for herself, not for herself AND Madonna. If this remix outsells (in pure sales and streams) the main version and the song gets to #1, it will be credited to both of them, but that's never gonna happen if it's not properly promoted, like it's been the case. But a nearly whole week of digital sales and streams will definitely boost the main version.

Also, why only B is on the cover? Why Madonna's vocals are reduced to the bare minimum?

She seems to be playing dirty with everything.

If this was a schedule conflict with Madonna's own "MATERIAL GWORRLLLLLLLL!" release, I'm sure both teams could have found a solution, moving "Material" to next week, for instance (still a free Friday spot left before the release of "Finally Enough Love"). But this planning looks suspicious.

I'm not one to normally put much up here which is why you won't see me often but I do enjoy listening to others opinions but I also like people's inputs and I have to agree with some people here that it is not well mixed and that it does sound like a fan just did it within a couple hours. Yeah you have some additional things but I feel like been done I wasn't really involved. It feels like it was done quickly prior and we're going to just gave her thumbs up because it's Beyonce. Yeah I guess you can say that the two now have worked together in some way, shape, or form, but overall it's just kind of lazily done. If I want to hear them work together I actually want to hear Madonna do some lyrics that are new and a hell of a lot more singing than what we got here because it just sounds like what happened, which was actually done well, mind you, but the same idea that Kylie had done with can't get you out of my head mixed with you spin me round. I mean it never felt like she worked with dead or alive. It just was a remix mashup of the two.

The song sampled on the Cant’t Get You Out Of  My Head remix was Blue Monday by New Order.
Another thing, you all should stop with the “it’s badly mixed”. It’s not. It us an underground vibe, like it’s a live mash up. Beyoncé knows what’s she’s doing. It’s not very different for what Madonna did with her vocals on Erotica, she didn’t want to sounds perfect but raw and unpolished.

Damn, just in time.

Is there a reason why? Is it something to do with COVID?

The dance chart was about the most played remixes in clubs. When clubs closed, it was shut down. Clubs have reopened but the chart was never brought back. I'm guessing it won't be back as long as the pandemic continues, just in case clubs close down again

Damn... that sucks. :(

But luckily, Madonna got her 50th with IDSIF in time before COVID hit.

The conspiracy wasn’t about Madonna not approving it, of course it’s official and has mom’s blessing. It was about how maybe B is using M’s name and the hype of both of them together but only to her own advantage.

Not to mention the smart and subtle movement of positioning herself as “queen” too at the same level of Madonna, with no one even noticing the movement at first and her using the double entendre of all the “queens” and the houses referenced in the remix too so it can been seen as “all the queens”.

But the first thing everyone sees is: Beyoncé & Madonna - The Queens Remix. So the message that sticks is: Beyoncé & Madonna are The Queens. Both queens but only one queen, Beyoncé, on the cover of the single. :Madonna009:

No other female pop artist in 30 years had the audacity before to put herself at the same level of Madonna, let alone saying it proudly to the whole world. Beyoncé is really smart doing it, no doubt about it. Kudos.

Beyonce is the Queen, Madonna is the Queen Mother
