And? We are talking about the present. Running Up was a hit this year but I haven’t seen her albums in the tipo 10. Yes she charts high, but Madonna charted higher with all her latest studio albums. Also Kate release an album every 10 years so of course she’s going to chart high.
Try again.
Why is this forum so full of people that are clearly NOT interested in Madonna anymore? What’s the point?
Another one on ignore.

The reason you haven’t seen her albums in the chart is because she hasn’t released any 🥴😅

Where did Kate Bush come into all of this lol - and why can't she have success or anyone else for that matter.

Back on topic - Madonna is likely to be overtaken - all you UK based peeps - Stream, Stream, Stream! If you can afford, buy, buy, buy lol

Too right, I do not come to a Madonna forum to talk about bush!

I'm streaming like a bitch, bought another download along with my 542 physical copies but I think Aitch is going to pip her and probably Steps once all the streams come in.

I wonder how many 64 popstars are charting like she is in the album chart. None.

Cher’s last two albums:

”Closer To The Truth” US #3 / UK #4

”Dancing Queen” US #3 / UK #2

Stevie Nicks’ last album was #7 in the US.

Blondie’s last album was #4 in the UK.

Sorry, but there are people way older than Madonna still charting well.

Very True and M's last albums have done the same  But I dare any of those artists to release a 3CD greatest remixes and see how they go.  Even Cher.  Our gal is smashing it

Well, she’s still charting higher with he studio albums (without the help of a full Abba cover album). I wonder how they are doing in the world chart though.

My point is that saying she’s this has been and that her popularity is low doesn’t make sense. People are clearly still stuck in 2005.

Her popularity is low though ? It’s only the fans like us buying her stuff now - that’s why her album sales on the second week plummet - that’s been the case with all her albums since Mdna. It’s so obvious and I don’t know why fans just can’t get over that fact and just enjoy the scraps she gives us now …

are these remix albums?

The fact Madonna is beating all these studio albums with a remix album collection says it all.

I would LOVE to ser her being #1 BUT I also want to see her doing promo with interviews and performances. The last time we saw her doing something quite god was for Confessions On a Dance Floor and Rebel Heart.

Doing promo and trying to be everywhere is not being desperate, is showing interest on the release and giving something to the public to care about.

I'm sorry but she doesn't deserve to be #1 in the UK when Steps have been working so hard to sell the record (I'm not a fan).

Where those compilation albums though?  If this was a new Madonna album, she wouldn't come in number 3 like Cher's last two abysmal albums and they were abysmal.
