I'm still thinking what concept will collect and order the concerts setlist - It could be chronological, by eras, in different aspects from her history. I only hope if there's any type of "revisiting" some old performance it will be with a modern twist, and not a bad new immitation.

here some thoughts about THE CELEBRATION TOUR

i think, she will approach it as a retrospective like in fine arts, like a frida kahlo museum show, but with the medium of music, performance and concert. her intense work on the bio pic must have a big influence on what we gonna see for sure. i guess it will be a mix of rock concert and some sort of narration of the 'madonna story' - see the VMA video. the classic 'I came to new york, 35$ in my pocket...', 'express yourself', 'freedom of changing identity', etc.

my bet is, that bob the dragqueen will be some sort of the host, narrator, that digs into her history and connects madonna to female icons before her. remember, she had this instagram post where we can hear mae west. also at pride last year, the 'interlude' of bob functioned similar. i personally would LOVE that.

then there will be sections and snippets of recreation of her past. like exhibiting what she has done, stood for but also the joy of music. the 80s rock/disco sound, of a new york club must be a given, the vogue housing ball, the electronic millenium sound, the urban vibes...

all this paired with fashion obviously .

if one approaches it like this, it is highly fascinating to me!! only she has the history to do this, no other pop star alive comes kinda close... plus, it is her own story, her own retrospective. this needs to be different than any other tour she has EVER done.

as you can see, i would have loved to work on the tour ;)
