Listening to the Murk Boys Miami remixes of Fever got me thinking: did they produce the remix instrumental in a different key intentionally or not? I couldn't wrap my head around it. Let me know what you think. :3

great topic! I have always thought so myself, cause the key variation between the instr and the vocals is quite evident...yet i find the remixes deliciously addictive, for sure in my top 10 of all of her (remix) discography

The Murk Boys Radio Edit is my fav mix of Fever.

100% on purpose,  the slight key mis match/clash was part of their sound. I love it 

I read she asked them personally to remix Fever after she heard Liberty City's Some Lovin at the Sound Factory , which they produced

Very interesting @Roy But do you mean the vocals are in a different key to the music, or there's an instrumental version of the mix in a different key? You know I'm not down with you audiophiles 😅

The instrumental for the remix is in a different key. It's a -1 semitone from the original key of Fever, which is G Major.
