Madonna’s acclaimed 1990 greatest hits album, The Immaculate Collection, can be heard for the first time in spatial audio thanks to a new Dolby Atmos mix available today HERE. Award-winning producer Mike Dean oversaw the new mix, using Dolby Atmos technology to immerse the listener in a dome of sound.

The Immaculate Collection currently reigns as the best-selling compilation ever released by a solo artist. This definitive album remains one of the best-selling records of all time, with global sales exceeding 30 million. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently updated the album’s certification in the U.S. to 11x platinum.

The Immaculate Collection Atmos mix arrives before Madonna launches her upcoming global “Celebration Tour.” The shows will cover four decades of music and feature live performances of many of Madonna’s greatest hits. The tour begins on July 15 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver and is scheduled to travel to 35 cities in North America and Europe. Strange on PDP when you disable atmos it plays the normal ending. All tracks sound louder and remastered when atmos is turned on. Rescue Me 😍

The source on the MadonnaTribe forum talking about the reissues also anticipated this, that they were working on updating the certifications too, according to a plan and that it would be revealed soon. The "Immaculate" update with the Dolby Atmos release is perfect timing and obviously something they've worked on, since certifications must be asked previously by the labels. Great!

About the expanded editions, the same source wrote this:

Madonna's team are working very hard in insane levels of detail on putting together the tracklistings including some nice surprises. Rhino will just receive what M's team put together. A LOT of hard work has gone into locating specific edits and versions from very exhaustive lists for example - it will be for M to decide what actually goes out and for Rhino to decide commercially what makes sense in terms of number of physical discs (if they go down a physical product route - I have zero info on the product side of things).

I can guarantee that the track listings suggested are exhaustive.

Also, replying to another comment, he said he didn't know when the first reissue is coming.

The version on YouTube is the 7-minute version of Lucky Star too... So weird. Did Emily not, like, look at the OG CD for a second?

I feel like with streaming some of the stats are either going to Celebration or the actual albums, not this one. 11X Platinum means 11 million, right?

In my opinion it's a simply mistake. Mike Dean forgot to mute Madonna's voice at the end. In Material Girl her voice has too much echo... All the tracks have been mixed again from the original stems and they sound different if you compare them with the original CD.
