I'm not even try to guessing what she gonna perform, but i know that she gonna slay us

One thing I really love about Madonna's tribute performance is always spot on and she is not just mimicking.

 

For example David Bowie tribute performance at Rebel heart tour!

She sang his song with her own voice and from her heart so it was very emotional to watch.

But then Lady gaga's tribute at Grammy was just poor mimicking and most people hate it (except her stans)

 

So I really looking forward The Queen of pop's Prince tribute performance.

I know and whole world know that it gonna be epic performance.

I'm nervous for the song choice. Madonna does not have the falsetto to pull off something like Kiss, I Wanna Be Your Lover or Let's Go Crazy etc.But I almost think she could pull something like If I Was Your Girlfriend off oddly enough.She really better not do either Like A Prayer or Hung Up. No one outside of fans know the correlation to Prince so I can already see the backlash 'Leave it to Madonna to make the death of a friend about her by performing one of her own songs at Prince's tribute'.

I hope its not a controversial performance, its a tribute I feel it should come from the heart rather than distract with any statements? idk i mean Ill judge it on its own merits anyway but people want a prince tribute not a madonna extravaganza lol and it would be nice if it was well recieved

Me too! but same time I don't want to know the song list until she actually performed.

Something like Superbowl performance.

At that time we only knew that there gonna be Vogue because of paparazzi rehearsal picture.

But we didn't know last of songs so we were more excited when we finally saw the actual Superbowl show.
