DaanB 3
Very curious about your favorite tour segment and why. Mine has to be the openingsegment of Confessions. The great setlist containing 3 tracks from the album and also Like a Virgin are blended perfectly. The opening with the disco ball, the horse riding during Like a Virgin and the parcours during Jump are all perfectly excuted. It is amazing. Elazul 250
Geisha segment of Drowned World Tour. Her most theatrical segment ever. Frozen gives me goosebumps. Nobody's Perfect came alive in that version compared to the album and Sky Fits Heaven performance is something she never equaled. Not to mention Paradise, which is still her best video interlude, 15 years after its debut... I also love the third segments of both Confessions Tour and Sticky & Sweet Tour because of the great song selection but they lack the theatrics. felipe929 546
The church segment from Blond Ambition. It was iconic from start to finish, and also very personal. "Live to Tell/Oh Father" is like she's singing about the abusive relationship with Sean, and is something I can relate deeply with. The Geisha from DWT and Transgression from MDNA are also memorable. wtg1987 10,150
No love for WTG or Girlie Show then ? Mmm - its tough but i do love the here comes the rain to la isla bonita segment on the S&S tour - i especially love the way she removes her cape in DWRY and the way the screens go up too - very dramatic and beautiful at the same time and i love the way the crowd clap during Miles Away too i think RIT opening segment is my favourite - the beast within intro is just sublime and i love stuarts/mirwais mixes of tbw-vogue-nkm favourite opening though is still wtg - always gives me goosebummps and i love when the drums kick in too - i miss the live instruments so much on her tours now ? i cant stand the backing tracks anymore :(( Enrico

My favourite parts are the encores in BAT and GS to be honest! I also love these sections: - military section of RIT - equestrian in CT - old school in S&S - rockabilly in RHT
RebelHeartbreak 407
I tend to prefer the 2nd act of most of her shows. Religious segment of Blond Ambition and the geisha segment of Drowned World are both brilliantly triumphant in her always present theme of going from darkness to light, in particular with Blond Ambition telling a truly naughty version of the immaculate conception story. I also love the disco segment of the Girlie Show, although it goes from light to darkness, i've always felt it to be such an honest story of what NYC must've felt like for her, from her arrival during the disco era to the AIDS epidemic taking so many of her friends away. The fact that (although not always the most popular route for her to take) the songs' arrangements are so radically altered to fit the story she's telling, is just another example of her willingness to challenge her audience to follow her on her artistic journey, rather than just perform hits to sell seats. I like to look at the tours as their own separate product. I love the albums, and there was a time when the videos meant more to me as well, but the live medium has always been my favorite product on the market. gafuller 1,653
I'd choose Reinvention's Circus segment. Hanky Panky was a great opener for it, really disguised the darkness lurking with a light fun diddy. Deep and Deeper was breathless, her live vocals bleeding with power and emotion. Die Another Day was another step into the dark and a creative way to not include it in the Military segment as it would have blandly fit. Lament... A gem in the broken tents of this nightmare circus. Her vocals here stripped of the acting of Evita is blessed and amazing!

RebelHeartbreak 407
I also loved how every segment of DWT was dedicated to an element and that idea fit the themes of the songs. I like how the tours themselves alternate. One will be dark and serious, then the next one (not just because the fans that can't handle the darkness bitch incessantly about it) will be light and fluffy. It makes for a well rounded experience as a fan, IMO.
