Yeah this is an excellent plan. If she really has to do this thing, that would be the best way possuble: a series (maybe also just a two seasons one, the first part till Vogue and BA, the creation of the myth, and the second mainly till 2005, like the tour did, and then going quicker: 20 episodes), coproduced and co-directed by the Murphy team and a great score wich mixes old classics with 8, 9 new songs ... but unfortunately this is rational 

Thing is as fans ....she's nearly 66 loads of artists have tragically not made it to 50, or 40 or made a success past their 3rd album 
 
Yet we have Madonna just had a successful tour 5 years after a successful 14th studio album(17 if you count Who's that Girl, I'm Breathless, Something to Remember as separate projects too) in her 60s....where's her peers?! Seriously it's crazy to dare think about ....much as we all wish and would love if every 18 months she dropped new albums and visuals and get them to number 1 she's got so many it only adds more weight to her strengths as a legend in the arts ....one day she will put it out there but only when the demand is there

Madonna will not be releasing a new album anytime soon ....she's literally done until she has something to say or push out there, the closest we will get is her anniversary remasters of albums and things which she SHOULDVE done with her debut to finally get it to number 1 worldwide like it deserves to be ! In so many ways deserves to be 
But besides that she knows the market is so busy and she's given us 45 years of material to enjoy so like we are fine for a while yet ....I do think before she's 70 she will serve a album to coincide with the biopic right after 

Let's be REALISTIC though ....she's doing her BIOPIC ...her story she literally is going to be making sure everything is in place and done this will literally be her passion project for the next three years ..   ....I'm not saying she won't record during the biopic lifetime but 
 
She's approaching 70 , she had a NDE a year ago! And physically has had such a scare ...it really is much as we all wish she released more albums we want them of a great quality ....hard Candy was made when making a film as was Mdna ... Both are ...let's be kind, mixed in the fandom ...I don't think we want her next album after 5 years and counting to be mixed 

You are aware that a FILMS entire production ENTIRE production could be at LEAST a year and at MOST THREE! and post pandemic typically a films production is 18 months 
As for those saying 3 months and done?! No way these days it'll take longer sets need to be build, effects do get added into films especially these days to save time and edits, the entire film needs to be cast choreographed music need to be recorded etc ....then a edit will be shopped around and given verdict ....then if not gone down well reshoots will be demanded slight or extensive 
With Madonna's track record ....it'll likely be more than a first draft and done ....A24 ironically would be best case scenario with their "artsy drama" style but oh my days this is going to take a while 
If this is THE focus we won't be seeing her entertained the studio earlier than 2026 for new music and that's a huge IF.

If she just handed her script to filmmakers then there could be a fairly quick turnaround but she’s not so I’m expecting a lot of time in post production.  Maybe not with effects but I’m sure she’ll find other ways to drag the process out. 
 
Would she release an album with no tour attached to it? Because I can’t see her touring any time soon?

Ain't nobody spending 18 months filming a movie! Nobody has the budget or the patience for that. It'll be a tightly scheduled 3 months of principal filming. Beyond that, they'd just be haemorrhaging money.

I'm predicting she'll be heading in the studio this fall for a 2025 release.  The script for her biopic hasn't even been finished, nor approved. That will take some time.  Without that script, it's pretty safe to say, we're a long way before any filming will start.

I thought the same.  After all, this isn't some huge big budget action/Sci-fi film. Something like this should take three months at the most to shoot and it can be done even sooner.  Even some of the biggest budget films that have been successful have finished filming in three months. Post production usually holds up a lot of films, depending on what needs to be edited and if it requires a lot of special effects. But this a Madonna Biopic. It won't need a lot of fancy effects. The big challenge for this project is just getting the script condensed down.  Even after filming, they are probably going to struggle what to cut and what to keep. Also, the film company financing this will keep everyone in check to make sure it's moving along.  Madonna knows the stakes and she knows if she wants this film to be made in her vision, she's going to have to play by the rules somewhat. Also, I think she will bring on a team of people to help her direct, edit and put the film together.  Madonna isn't going to fuck around too much, because she knows it cost money and she'll want to get this film made for least amount of money possible, so hopefully they can profit from it.  I'm sure she and the film company backing her will want to get this made for no more than 50 Million dollars much in the same vein as Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Yeah I think people are over-estimating on this timeline. They're currently rewriting the script and even when it gets picked up there's still a good amount of time before filming starts. Costumes need to be made, sets need to be built, etc. and although she's overseeing it all she won't be there 24/7. There is definitely some time to record new music somewhere before 2027

FINALLY I do feel Madonna should embrace these artists CharlI XCX I'd a very Madonna aesthetic I've wanted them to Collab for A DECADE!!! when I bought TRUE ROMANCE in 2013 I thought yessssss Madonna should do a trippy witchy hyperpop album in that vibe... Gorgeous debut album ... And she's only kept growing since ....imagine a Collab with those two 

Madonna and Charli XCX recently followed each other on instagram.... I definitely feel a collab could be in our future. 
 

I don't get the FILM thing I genuinely feel a series like The Crown would be so hot ....like get a three season deal of 6-8 episodes her first season span her push to new York flashbacks to early days and finishing with her taking the world by storm in who's that girl tour, second season focus on her like a Prayer through to Ray of Light controversies through to spiritual rebirth then the final season gae conflict with the world post 9/11 and Britain Vs states and comeback 
24 hours of non stop Madonna entertainment and immersive experience ....get a deal with PRIME video ....Disney plus? Maybe and get them out there .... Just imagine if filmed like a Ryan Murphy style project ....would be a huge hit and would allow all her albums to get a huge boost from debut to madame x 
She could then record the new album in-between and before she's 70 release it! Imagine that 

I'd be surprised if it's 2026 really because we want her to focus a lot on the projects she's doing ...it's going to be intent filming this film will likely be the longest production she's ever done in her career because it's the story of her entire life ....so naturally it's going to be huge 18 months or so filming products and reshoots if needed by studios then the endless post production ....when it's edited and nearly ready for release .....2026 she will then get inspired to record music I bet meaning early 2027 will be earliest ....if she released autumn winter 2026 that'll be PEAK competition time 

I was oriented to believe she would have been back in 2025 myself too, but now I agree, if she's back to the biopic thing it's very difficult she will dedicate the time, necessary even just to promote a new album, next year, even assuming she already recorded stuff before the tour wich she could be finalizing now.
I don't think it's necessarily gonna be 2027 though, but quite probably about autumn 2026, with the biopic release. They say they will start shooting in a year time, so probably before or after next summer and then there also will be the postproduction times so ... it's gonna be long  
We'll have time to dedicate to our daily dramas 

Nah it won't be next year ...2027 at the EARLIEST will be her next album release! Anything before then isn't realistic ....the next year she's writing her biopic and editing a tour film most likely and likely too other endorsements and things .... That takes us to winter 2025 ....then likely filming on biopic will commence then with production etc ....then likely in studio she will release an album ahead of the biopic release?! 

Yeah it seems everyone is releasing an album which causes some to fade in only a few weeks!
 

I feel like she definitely has some sort of idea. I mean, it is Madonna! I just think she's being very quiet about it and waiting for the right moment. 
(Although us fans wish that moment was NOW )

Saw some people saying that she followed this one guy based in the UK who may be apart of the production team for the biopic. So that's probably the real reason she's there. 

Ahah, these two are good, the first one is great. For the rest, random nonsense pics seem to be back  she looks amazing, just some more selection to leave it magical as it can be.
