  1. I lost one of my favorite people to AIDS. The video might not be the best edited, but it warmed my heart. I'm glad she is still shedding light on this topic. A queen.
  2. I think it's for both. She points out how hypocritical society can be about sex, which is totally part of our human nature. Everyone has sexual fantasies, but after her sex book came out, some people were quick to judge her. She got a lot of flak with the sex book for picturing gay sex, polyamorous relationships, and female masturbation. The ultra-conservative crowd labeled her a witch, but she didn't back down. She's not sorry—and neither should her fans be afraid to express themselves just because society can't swallow minorities having fun and not hiding.
  3. I love it when she goes Chrissie Hynde and sings with a deeper voice. I'm not a fan of her earlier eras because she sounds juvenile, but I understand it was the 80s and that was a thing. Now... she nailed ROL:
  4. MDNA and letting Pharrell & Timberlake & Timbaland basically own Hard Candy. Nothing against them, but the beat is… generic. After Confessions, it was kind of a let down.
  5. She looks cute with the freckles! I saw some people using henna to make them last longer, but I don’t think it’s Madonna’s case. She just loves the filters.
  6. Lady Gaga... what a big fat meh! They seriously could have just kept bringing Madonna until it became a national holiday or something lol She really lifted everyone's spirits. The whole country paused to watch her, felt the energy, and shared those emotional moments together. She was the hottest topic for months afterward. Madonna & Rio were a thing! I can't picture Gaga having the same impact. But, well, what choice do we have?
  7. What the FUCK does this have to do with Gaga performing in Rio?
  8. She can be a bit much sometimes, and it might not even seem like it's needed. But honestly, if she hadn’t been such a pain during her career, she probably wouldn’t be in the position she is now.
  9. Madonna can’t act Madonna can’t spell Madonna can’t write Madonna can’t sing Like…….? Leave some chores for the haters.
  10. She stepped on many people’s toes at the beggining of her career… she wanted to be famous at all cost, and she got very famous. People would call her a narcisist (as they already do), manipulative, etc. It’s hard to dodge from those adjectives when telling a story through a 2-hour movie. A book? Less risky for her.
  11. Her vocals were perfect on Ray Of Light due to her intense training for Evita. It was her prime - vocally. I don’t know if it will ever happen again, but cutting out the autotune in some songs would suffice! Madame X was too much.
