« When I first collaborated with Madonna in 1997, I had no idea how much my life was about to change. The timing couldn’t have been more surreal. I had just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart with “Give It Up,” my DJ residencies were heating up — at Liquid in Miami and the early days at The Roxy in NYC — and Madonna was wrapping Ray of Light. As always, she had her finger on the pulse of the dance floor.

One night, Ingrid Casares invited me to dinner. I showed up expecting a casual hang — and there was Madonna at the table. After some small talk, she cut straight to it: “So… are you going to remix my first single, Frozen?” That moment changed everything.

What followed was more than a dozen remixes across Ray of Light and Music, and an incredible creative relationship. Madonna didn’t just give direction — she drove the vision. She was clear, direct, and unfiltered in her feedback. Even when I pushed back or thought I had it right, she had a way of showing me another level I hadn’t seen yet. That kind of pressure sharpened me. It shaped me. It raised the bar for how I approached everything after.

This release brings it all full-circle!  Veronica Electronica is a collection of unreleased remixes from a lineup of incredible producers. I’m honored to be included with two of my own:  Sky Fits Heaven - Victor Calderone Future Mix and Skin - The Collaboration Mix, with Peter Rauhofer. Proud of the work we created together. And thankful to have played a part in her legacy. »

Is the Skin remix really Hi-Res or an upscale from the CD source @bertrand, if you've checked?

It sounds like the audio from Mountain View combined with the Turin TV broadcast (beginning of WTG is noticeable when she picks up something at the beginning), albeit with more shots from the audience which wouldn't be shown on a regular screen feed.

I think it's been confirmed as a very good vinyl rip, just like the version I have that I downloaded years ago. It's surprising that we cannot get our hands on a digital transfer of this and the OYH remix, when we have basicallly everything else now. The cursed mixes

So the Extended / Dub do match the Yellow CD versions to me (they are 100% in sync from beginning to end), but with slightly higher volume on streaming. Which makes me think they are also master transfers like they've done from the beginning. I think they are also the same on TB 35, only more boosted.

Seems like a good rip, not compressed (and the EQ seems somewhat similar to the LIB Remix/Edit) 🙌
