Rebel Heart is way more melodic than MDNA, even in the "wall of sound" songs you can see a basic melody inside. MDNA has few chorus power, most of them are just the song title repeated (GAYL, Some Girls, I'm A Sinner, Gang Bang, SuperStar etc). Really feels like an album with little time of composition.
 
And all this bad feeling about the sound is because we've listened all the demos first, I really doubt if we listened the album versions and then the demos people would still feel this way.

And maybe that's why Rebel Heart (the song) is not that anthem anymore. Still good (love the lyrics) but not a potential hit anymore, became more linear

I'm really enjoying this era. Love to see the band on stage with her and she really seems focused, reminding me the Ray Of Light and Confessions promo (with a better vocal performance).

I've had the oppositie impression. She seems focused, beautiful and in excellent voice for all of her recent performances.
 
I've been a fan for so long and the Rebel Heart era has been one of her best in a very long time. I feel fortunate to experience it all of these years later!
