This sounds awful, and if it were a one off it might be excusable, but how are these crazy late start times still a thing, especially after starting 12 shows on time in London? What possible excuse is there now? It’s so unprofessional. She’s becoming increasingly hard to love these days. Sometimes you need to lose everything before you appreciate what you had, so I hope the French press rip her to shreds. I’m glad she’s losing money from this tour. I encourage fans not to waste money on these ridiculously expensive tickets, and maybe then, and only then, will she finally realise the value of her fans and work harder to maintain their commitment. Aye-aye-aye...

Yup and you can clearly hear it on the audio recordings. This conversation however, which seems to come back everytime she hits the road is just so dull. If someone can't allow themselves to enjoy a show because there's a backing track here and there then I suppose it's their prerogative. But it's bewildering in case of Madonna especially, since backing tracks were used on her live shows as far back as The Virgin Tour. That's 35 years folks, time to let that one go. I also don't know how much of it stems from a genuine love of live music and how much is a form of internalised Madonnaphobia - trying to find flaws and things to criticise her for before the general public or press does it for us. I saw Dolly Parton a few years back and even she lipped half of her show (and I mean lipped, not just sang over a backing track). It still was great and she's still a fucking legend. Who cares? Yawn.

In the Girlie Show from Sydney Cricket Grounds, there is a mic feed for Vogue and she is singing live right over top of the guide vocal. 
it is very revealing. 

To be fair, my vocals are going over the top of hers when I,m in my car. I,m still singing live. And I,m not even using any effects lol

There was an article years ago explaining that that mic was unique and I always wondered why they bothered lol...

I know a lot of time now backing tracks are used, but I wonder why then there are some performances from various tours where she will say "turn my mic up".
The RHT Tokyo soundboard where you can hear the man giving her the lyric cues is most noticeable for how she uses these tracks, especially Body Shop when he tells her to slow down because she is singing too fast compared to the backing track vocal.

That's old Madonna. New Madonna has modified her show several times since then:
MDNA in Santiago and all the shows where she didn't do the Like A Virgin Waltz
Rebel Heart in Manchester and Singapore and aaaaaall the shows where she didn't do the Flamenco section

Totally agree.  I am thinking, and I very well could be wrong, that all performers would be paid in full by insurance coverage?
Looking back at Sticky & Sweet Round 2009, many of the original performers chose to stick (LOL) with the tour extension, so perhaps something similar could be worked out for a postponement of the MADAME X Tour 2020.

I was at the second night and they filmed entire show. 

Totally agree. I fault them, not Madonna. I don't understand them at all and where they are? 

That's when she should have a decent manager who has the empathy to be with her during this to say I'll issue a statement on your behalf that morning that so many shows are going to be cancelled etc. Instead of it appearing Madonna is cancelling last minute. Oh and after the show(s) are cancelled, someone stops posting random shit then on instagram that just ends up infuriating fans even more.

I attended the show on the 14th in Lisbon. The show was beyond expectations, just amazing.
M talked with the audience A LOT and at some point she said this:
"For the past 2 months, my leg feels like wood and I can't control it. Please excuse me for this, I want you to focus your attention from the waist up"
She did her BESTEST to keep up with the show and she did. At parts the choreo was toned down but again being the pro that she is it didnt show but if you know M and her stage presence you could feel it...
Especially when she went up and down stairs, she had assistance . And there were random movements where her thigh would make spasms and shake randomly and she couldnt control it. yet she absolutely delivered. At certain moments in the show , she hurt so much you could see it in her face but she would quickly smile like the happiest person in the world so we wouldnt notice.
In Medellin, when shes on the table doing the spread legs thing, she forced herself so hard to do it.
My heart broke as I could feel the outstanding pain she was in. But my heart also was fullfiled as she fought the pain like a soldier and gave us a night to remember for life.
An the Yondr thing...ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT IDEA! Everyone enjoyed the show so much!
