I am glad the 12" instrumental for "True Blue" is on it, but I'm just crushed there's no Remix Edit of "Open Your Heart."

It's this, "True Blue" 35th Anniversary. Remix bonus tracks, including the "True Blue" Remix Edit, but nothing that hasn't appeared elsewhere. (Well, except for the title track instrumental.) No "Open Your Heart" Edited Remix. VERY disappointing.

He does have a point. Some fans are constantly unhappy over minor issues. But these videos are a big deal and need to be treated as such.
We’re not getting upscaled 128 mp3s for the remixes and we shouldn’t get upscaled 90s transfers for the videos.

The edits and remix edits will be for the 45th and "Ain't no big deal" probably for the 50th 

No "Open Your Heart (Remix Edit)"... I can't believe it....

Every song longer than 10 minutes is automatically Album-Only on iTunes, don't know if it's the same on 7digital.

The way that Open Hour Heart remix isn’t available to purchase separately and is album only.

There better be something released on streaming this Friday, I'm getting a bit fed up. 

It’s subtle but it is different and uses several sound stems which don’t appear on the album version, such as the recurrent clap sequence. I love this version - it was the official 7” single A-side in the uk and the only one that isn’t available digitally.

I don't really stream most of the time. I have a huge physical and lossless digital music collection (I estimate I own at minimum 10,000 CDs, if you include CD singles), so I don't really have the need to stream.  I don't like not owning my music. But I think it's great that Apple is finally embracing lossless streaming. Hopefully they will sell lossless downloads as well. 

@steady75 Feels your pain

I think the fact that Emily has been WhatsApping old remixers to compile comprehensive versions of her early singles is a super super super encouraging sign that we really are gonna get the definitive single versions available digitally once and for all. 
The fact the the Rusty Egan 7” mix of everybody is hella obscure is proof to me that 82-88 will be given the respect it deserves. It’s her most iconic singles period and procuring as much as possible to make the EP’s as robust as possible is good business sense. 

Not least because fans will stream and digitally purchase in the first instance and then they’ll put their hand in their pocket again once to buy physical re-editions when the masters fall back into her hands.

He said he can’t share them since they’re under contract to be released sometime soon commercially
