I think she's probably extra bitter that Madonna did do such a good job with Evita despite otherwise being a generally bad actress. There are so many worse singer-actors and yet, for 25 years, Madonna is still on the tip of her tongue at all times.

There was no heavy use of playback in Rio. Listen to fan recordings it was all live. The broadcast itself had weird dubbed vocals.

And many more parts had flaws like this but at the actual moment itself she was singing live with the backing track just as on all the other dates.  The broadcast make it seem she was just lipsyncing wich she clearly was not.
 

Am i really the only one who thinks there where much better dates than Rio?
I mean sure, the crowd was impressive but imo the tour worked much better inside of an arena. And sound wise it wasn’t that great either. So much weird dubbed parts, while in fan recordings it all sounds much better and she sounded fine that night. 
Performances like live to tell or Ray of light where much better in arena's. 
Dates like London, MSG , or Mexico, just to name a few where much better. 
So i hope if this is a documentaty it's not just rio footage.  
Please don't attack me, i know Rio is a holy date on this forum...

When we where in the movies and Madonna's vocals start playing i looked around a little to see how the audience would react en they loved it. Lots of people singing along and where kind of dancing in their seats. I got goosebumps all over in both scenes, the Madonna/Fight scene and the Choir scene at the end. Not that its important for this post but to give it a bit more positive vibe in here...

No, I am not comparing the two photos. The first one is old and was republished two years ago on Madonna's profile but edited with FaceApp, almost certainly by Ricardo Gomes. It's obvious because FaceApp makes everyone look the same in this way. There was even a photo of him holding his iPhone, showing the app icon on his screen.
What’s incredible is that the AI failed twice to recognize the sunglasses and created fake, strange-looking eyes. This happens sometimes with FaceApp.
See these two examples. It’s embarrassing. It's shocking that someone so incompetent is hired by Madonna, a global pop star with a 40-year career.

Probably the only thing he did right was the Itau shot. He's slowly starting to get better but i'm still absolutely no fan of his work and I hope she will get rid of him before she drops the new Album.

Madonna, like many from her generation, might not realize there are many people out there who can use Photoshop. Just a few years ago, she worked with decent photographers like Tom Munro, who did a good job in 2014, now it's just Ricardo.
I'm not a photographer, but I love photography and I know how to use a DLSR. Even with just a smartphone, I'd do a better job than he does. A good photographer can take amazing photos with a smartphone.
I get that she wants lots of content for social media, but anyone could do that. Picking a random person might actually get better results.
