Commenting on collabs...  You have to admit, M doesn't have a great track record with collabs. They're usually not amazing. And the one thing that separates most of these other artists is that they have a "sound" that they usually bring to the collab. Whereas Madonna being the chameleon she's always been... doesn't have that instantly recognizable sound she brings to the table. (What is a Madonna sound?) Her voice changes, her genres change. (Champagne Rose she's a Chinese Robot.)
I think she's missing a big opportunity to not make a Ray of Light part 2.   NOT EXACTLY THE SAME before everyone attacks the idea. But... go watch the Nothing Really Matters video. The visuals, the elements of the song. It's essentially emotional electro house music with pianos playing psychotic chromatic notes in a breakdown. It didn't sound like anything before, and it still doesn't sound like anything now. The vocal harmonies. The background singers. BRING BACK NIKI AND DONNA. a bridge that doesn't seem tacked on as an after thought/or a chore but actually completes the song. Songs that have a personal meaning for her, but are universally understood. I think Crazy is a "catchy" song, but I feel absolutely NOTHING when I listen to it. I don't feel the pain she's singing about. The metaphors are so random that you almost have to study the lyrics to understand what they're going for. It's so try hard and all I can do is wish I was listening to Crazy by Gnarls Barkley.

She also needs to properly mix her music.

100% agree. Plus no one asks Elton why he's still making music, for instance.
I don't know, her new team seems to be doing a good work. Her press coverage during the last few months have been much better than in the previous years. With that, coming back to Warner and the biopic, I think she will be fine.

Why would she pass on an album ???  We'l get everything including Immaculate, You Can Dance, Breathless and Something To Remember and hopefully the WTG tracks somehow. If Rhino said they were doing Gambler on Twitter after being asked about it i wonder how they could pass on Bedtime Stories...

I would be okay with random releases, as long as they keep them coming. Like, two a month or something. 

I wonder what the likelihood of getting her old tours remastered on Blu-ray are? I know we're talking about Madonna and Warner here but if the right guy is in charge of the box sets then he might have been given permission to go all out. 
 
I think they should release different tiers of each album:
Standard LP remastered 
Double LP remastered with bonus tracks
Double CD remastered with bonus tracks 
Super limited box set with all of the above plus a DVD and Blu-ray of the coinciding tour and a double CD of live audio, posters, lyric book,  etc. 

Into The Groove Should Have been a single in the US. It would have been a Guaranteed Number 1.

Kevin Antunes her Newer Musical director: Her live Performances which are in just my opinion her total Strength, Some ruined by his computer music. She needs a Steven Anderson, Someone who completely understands her catalogue and old and new hits how to re interpret them and at least make them sound Like they are using real Instruments.
So MANY POOR decisions. Disrespect for the one thing that is most important, THE MUSIC.?‍♂️☺

I'm really surprised by some fans disliking that much this move and the remix in particular.
The remix was born as a Tik Tok trend, it's not a classic remix, it's a mood. Of course it's not a Junior Vasquez remix. Of course it's 2 minutes, it's meant to be used in short videos and added to playlists. The shorter the better. It's not 1995 anymore, by the way. You got a 10 minute "Frozen" Calderone Club Mix from 1998 if you want one of those.
For the first time IN YEARS she seems to be truly aware of what's going on and have a team and a label supporting her to capitalize on that. She's gonna achieve millions stream numbers with this remix. And not only that. Go check the latest comments on the "Frozen" official YouTube music video: lots of comments of new people discovering the original song, thanks to the remix.
She's doing EVERYTHING right this time but she truly can't win with some fans. The only thing they could have done better is releasing it earlier but I guess there was business/contractual stuff going on behind the scenes (remember it was hard to know who was the original remixer at first) and she wanted to give a little space to the "Madame X" tour release anyway to have its own spotlight.

You're absolutely right and I understand it's a matter of personal taste too. I was making more of a general statement than a comment about the ranking.

You have to remember... it's not that people don't appreciate it... There's just alot of great albums above it. I love alot of Hard Candy, but it ended up #10 on my list. I still love to listen to it. 

Finally taking a look at these results...I'm happy to see American Life made it into the top 5!
Ray Of Light and Erotica as the top two is very predictable, now necessarily wrong, but predicable.
It's a shame people don't appreciate Hard Candy for what it is. It's definitely not her best album, but it's not her second worst either.

Hard Candy is such a fine album, fans are just stuck in 2008 using the same "bUt itS kiNdA dAtED nOw, tHiS WouLd hAVe wOrKEd 2 yeArS aGO" excuse, they should let it go, stop trashing it like kids who didn't find a new toy under the xmas tree and start appreciating how fun and energic the album is and hopefully the reissue will help, xoxo

I'm planning to do more stuff like this in the near future. As said above, I wanted to do a megarate for every album (rating each track from an album). However I'm still debating on including the non-album tracks as well and do the rates era by era (for example, having Ain't No Big Deal competing for the first album megarate). What do you think?
Give a heart if you want the megarates to include the non-album tracks, or a "Wow" if you want only the album tracks to be included.
