The "Dear Jessie" release seems very odd and off key with the rest of the album campaign even now. I know it was a Top 5 hit in the UK but the video is terrible and the artwork (while cute), a choice. It truly seems a cash in move from Warner UK for Christmas 1989 more than anything (it worked, though).

Since Y'ALL MISSED MY POST I have to share it here because I am obsessed with it.  And I want you all to be too.  I envisioned the final ITG rehearsal from RIT to have the pre-recorded vocals she did for "now I know you're mine", and I have created it using the live guest rehearsal version that was showcased on news stations pre-RIT, and am super happy with the results. Sharing it here because I love it so. Sorry leakers. Had to.

Thats what I was afraid of. All the ones I got when I started collecting the singles back in the day. ??‍♂️ Luckily they all got stolen when my car got broken into. 

Hmmm I’ll take those three versions if that’s all their is. For me this is about presenting her legacy in all its glory in the most up to date format. 
The artworks alone belong in a gallery. Imagine being 12 yrs old in a couple of years and just stumbling across Madonna on Spotify. The single covers throughout her career are enough to beguile a new generation to just dig a bit deeper. 
Not every brick in the castle is spectacular but together a fortress of excellence that could only house one Queen. 

It's clear a reference to ballroom culture and the dancefloor for the queer that need a place to feel safe and be themselves.
I think we are so used to listen to it, we forget about it and just pick on :'Let your body move to the music' rather than "Trying to escape the pain of life that you know"
You can't just remove the vogueing culture of the song. It's dance, its queer , its an anthem
