Nobody Knows Me reacted to Aiwa08 in True Blue 35th Anniversary Edition
Ok, only for 60 minutes for the members of this forum, the 35th anniversary using the japanese CDs without "Loudness War". Please, be quickly.
EDIT: I'm sorry, although my 35th version is not the one available to buy, the songs are still the same. So I must remove my version. I don't care if the people who have downloaded my version, upload it again. Don't Worry. I hope you're like my version. Special thanks to @Craigypants and @amscity for their help with the original japanese CD of True Blue.

Cherish now available in 1080p HD.

Nobody Knows Me got a reaction from Aiwa08 in Single Reissues Campaign - Causing a Commotion - OUT NOW
Yes, it would be the same digital master as used on “The Best of Warner Music (UK)”.
The only other release to feature it is the radio one number ones cd that you previously mentioned and I think that includes a well mastered vinyl rip.

Lol TB Dub is not tape sourced. It’s a standard well done master transfer. Stop spreading this nonsense lol.
OYH Dub is the yellow CD version and @Aiwa08said La Isla is as well. Didn’t check for myself but his information is always accurate.
Some claimed OYH extended is also from the yellow CD but also haven’t checked.
True Blue Remix Edit is the same transfer as the one from the Warner Promo CD

Oh for fucks sake…the only interesting thing to look forward to was the edit of Open Your Heart and the remix edit of La Isla Bonita but I guess we'll have to wait another 30 years.

I mean it's a problem in general, not only with Madonna's videos and songs. I spent years wanting to buy FLAC or WAV files, but people are happy with 192 mp3s. The same with films and tv series. People in general are happy with DVD and doesn't care about Blu-rays or UHD. That is the reason why I've told you is a losing battle, because people doesn't care about the quality in audio/video files. And if you complain about the quality, then you are "a sad person who cannot enjoy anything".

Exactly. So over the thought police in Madonna’s fan base.

No "Open Your Heart (Remix Edit)"... I can't believe it....

I am glad the 12" instrumental for "True Blue" is on it, but I'm just crushed there's no Remix Edit of "Open Your Heart."

It's this, "True Blue" 35th Anniversary. Remix bonus tracks, including the "True Blue" Remix Edit, but nothing that hasn't appeared elsewhere. (Well, except for the title track instrumental.) No "Open Your Heart" Edited Remix. VERY disappointing.

Ya this is all Rhino/Warner’s doing. In fact, almost all labels are upgrading their artists videos to HD. Universal made an announcement about doing it back in 2019:

Nobody Knows Me reacted to Fabiolous in Single Reissues Campaign - Causing a Commotion - OUT NOW
I'm trying to think of a logical reason why they wouldn't do it properly and all I can think of is that remastering all of them properly is too expensive. She has a lot more music videos than more artists. Maybe they decided to do a decent job at all of them rather than an amazing job at 10 of them? Anyway it's 1000% better than what it used to be

Nobody Knows Me got a reaction from Candy Perfume Boy in Single Reissues Campaign - Causing a Commotion - OUT NOW
It’s subtle but it is different and uses several sound stems which don’t appear on the album version, such as the recurrent clap sequence. I love this version - it was the official 7” single A-side in the uk and the only one that isn’t available digitally.

I’d love the Open Your Heart 7” Remix. Apart from the 7” vinyl, the best copy I have is a rip from the ‘It’s That Girl’ promo cassette tape. I can’t believe it’s never appeared on any digital format! -

Perhaps you’d hear it with fresh ears if we had a digital master rather than a crackly vinyl or tape rip ;)

This is true! I like the overall sound mix better. To me, it sounds warmer. The symbol crash intro is also softened. There is something a little harsh about the LP Version. If I had to rank my favourite version (excluding the 12” remix) I’d say the 7” remix is my fave version, followed by Immaculate Collection/celebration version, and then the LP version.

When are you making the next episode of Bitch I’m Madonna? I’ve loved this series so far. I appreciate the time and effort you put into it! Such a great chronology of her career
