I actually like your alternative version @@Turuncan ! What happened to bitch I'm Madonna? Completely omitted?

For me, a perfect album should be quality not quantity and that's what made Madonna's earlier albums so special. Usually around 8 to 14 top quality tracks.

23 tracks on rebel heart is just ridiculous and unlistenable and the whole Rebel/Heart dance/ballad split doesn't do it for me.

I don't like the production on a lot of the tracks. Bitch I'm Madonna sounds unfinished (just my opinion). Wash over me sounds like a demo, and Iconic has terrible lyrics (a bit of a cliche heavy updated "like it or not" ) and I hate the production. The demo versions were better of some tracks - rebel heart and messiah.

My choice would be:
Living For Love
Devil Pray
Ghost town
Unapologetic Bitch
Hold tight
Heartbreak City
Joan of Arc
Best night
Messiah (demo version)
Rebel heart (avicii version)

Overall it isn't one of my favourite albums. I rarely listen to it.

I'm curious to see what they upload for the 80's singles, if they are ever done. Seeing how they mess up the files here and there, I wouldn't be that confident

PS, sorry to those who have been waiting, been a hectic time here moving house and then into another lockdown ? I put extra time into this one so hope you all enjoy it ?

I really think Prince’s estate are doing a good job with these re-releases. I expected them to just dump random compilations of unreleased songs out there similar to ‘The Vault - Old Friends 4 Sale’ but they’ve actually done a good job with these repackages. I mean this is the 3rd one now and all 3 have been very comprehensive and included live concerts with them, 2 now which have never been officially released. They’ve also put virtually all his music videos on YouTube and the Piano and Microphone and Originals albums they did were both imo good. Their RSD stuff has also been good. Overall much better than what MJ fans have gotten since he died.

Yeah I thought about that. I’d like to eventually merge the whole Madonna/LAV/Boy toy era into 1 without titles and credits inbetween Cos I know some fans like to just watch it all like that. It just makes more sense on YouTube to have episodes no longer than 10 minutes I think Cos then the more casual fans are likely to watch them.

I would love to get the B-roll of that footage, I am pretty sure Australian ABC has the 2 full songs! I need to find someone that works there....

Although I love this album, this entire photoshoot is awful. I'd switch it to any of the Secret single covers.

She sings all the songs in Japanese if you ordered your copy with Take a Bow as an extra 

it's the exact same thing, no difference

There are only three tracks on MDNA that I like:

Yes, I regard 'Bitch I'm Madonna' as never happened. Ever.   I do the same for 'S.E.X.', 'Holy Water', and the whole "MDNA" album as well.   And 'Veni Vidi Vici' is just an outtake, or maybe a b-side if b-sides still exist.

There are only three tracks on MDNA that I like:

Jorick Hello, you're right it's almost impossible to include the successes of 3 decades in a single CD and and two still falls well short collection. Like you I thought the same thing Edition "SUPER DELUXE EDITION" with 3 discs and still be wanting some hit singles. As for durations of CELEBRATION original album, I think sloppy boombox not represent their great eras. So I gave myself the task of editing, in order to create an album with versions agreement in time, not just cut them, if not offer unique versions for this album. I share my Artwork, my tracklist and their durations. This is just my personal opinion, we all have different favorite songs of Madonna, some more successful than others, but after all are successes.
