I asked the auction house if they will also provide a digital transfer of the reels, and here is what they answered... @bertrand @RUADJAI The Consigner that owns this entire lot stated that there are some selections that were made to show what was on the tapes and reels, but that there is no digitized copy that is readily available for distribution.

Well he used it for the Guy Guido documentary. They should have released a complementary cd at the time with the best files...

Where exactly in my post did I mention her songwriting? Where do you live? I only said that here in Italy she is just famous but no one knows her songs. And they are never on the radio. Strange cause this doesn't happen to Whitney or Celine or Gaga or Katy or Pink. And yes, multiple women can make good music. To me, for instance, Cyndi Lauper is a great artist, even if she isn't selling million records anymore.

It's funny cause the press is pumping her all over and talking about her almost everywhere, but nobody who is over 25 can name or sing any of her songs. She may win a lot of now useless VMAS awards (is Mtv still a thing?), she may have million of streams, but she has very little impact on music and culture. I think the thing that reminds me most of Madonna's success is all those girls trying to dress like her. I was in London in August and the trains were full of this new generation of "wannabes". Still, dressing as Madonna was almost a rebel move, this look is just superficial, glittery and conformist.

Some of the files don't seem to correspond with the description of the lot that you can read online. Songs are not mentioned. We need to make sure which is the best to buy. I'd gladly do it but I haven't done it before...

Also, the snippets from lot 114 and 115 are the same. @Spanky1995 It's probably 114, Suppertime is not in lot 115. Do you think you can get the real snippets from lot 115 please? But Suppertime snippet from lot 116 also sounds the same, maybe it's the same take on reel and on tape?

Track 4 snippet in the lot125 is taken from Guy Guido's documentary, it features Madonna speech in the Hall of Fame induction. This tape is the only one that has 2 takes of the acoustic version of Tell the truth, which I don' t think we have. The Shamrock reel version is a rock rendition and is missing the first verse.
