  1. Allow me to interject and point you toward my YouTube channel with both performances, captured from my own VHS copy: What a glorious day it will be when these are finally released in some sort of digital format. It will happen eventually.
  2. I think this actually would be a great way to gain exposure to new audiences beyond her hardcore fans. I just don't think it would be a very big audience. So if it doesn't cost must to put them on Netflix, it may be worth it. Then again, I doubt her vocal performances from the 80's and the 90's would make great first impressions on potential new fans...
  3. I don't think she fully owns it solely herself. I'm sure Miramax, or whomever bought Miramax, co-owns it with her. But remember when she did those social media posts from her archive? She had reels from Truth or Dare in her possession. Weren't they audio mixes? Or were they unfinished cuts of the film with unfinished audio? I remember the descriptions on the boxes referenced something to do with audio.
  4. Sometimes these local limited releases can be surprising. Wasn't Prince's Sign "O" The Times concert film first available on Blu Ray only in Germany. Wait, isn't that the case still?
  5. I bet the vinyl is either The Immaculate Collection or a 7" with two hits like "Holiday" and "Like A Virgin", since those videos used to get played on TV to promote Truth or Dare.
  6. Alek a lie! He expects us to believe they filmed "Express Yourself", "Like A Virgin", "Like a Prayer", "Oh Father", "Hanky Panky", "Vogue", "Holiday" and "Keep It Together" but turn the cameras off for every song in between? The fact that footage of "Causing a Commotion" pops up for a few seconds in the move is proof enough that they filmed more.
  7. OK I made a couple things. H ere it is, what I'm assuming they intended. An edit of the extended version, but with the album intro: https://mega.nz/file/xixWECyJ#g_JMzjxyp4oFovCqYUGokBEPLlvxzsppNVN5KLmVd_g And I also made a straight-up edit of the extended version, without the album intro: https://mega.nz/file/h64mkKCY#ECh-4ouvbTfgHc8JPMKqGLyo7YjXEag9c0fi9AluhWM
  8. If executed well, this would have been a really good version of "Like A Virgin". I may try to recreate it myself...
  9. Ooohhh - I actually like this! I've never heard it. (EDIT: I typed that before I got to the end of the track. It does end up sounding quite sloppy.) Are these the versions of the videos they played on TV in the UK? Or were they only on the DVD? I can't say I know whether or not the alternate version of "Lucky Star" was actually played on TV here in the US or not.
  10. Yeah I get that. Maybe they just sped up the ones that hadn’t already been sped up. For instance, “Crazy For You” is differently a little faster than the original, I checked it myself.
  11. I’m not good at math. I know the TIC remix of “Holiday” is 118 bpm and the album version is 116 bpm, so I mathed it as 118/116=0.983 so took that as one is 2% faster than the other. Sorry, I’m southern.
  12. It’s safe to say it’s not the Immaculate Collection remix as tracks 1-15 are all 2% faster than the original versions. This was presumably to make them fit onto the album. They needed room for LONGER versions of “Like a Prayer” and “Vogue”.
  13. I had no idea the EU/UK TIC DVD was different. I’ve only seen the US releases of TIC on VHS, laserdisc and DVD. Now I want the UK DVD!
  14. "Lucky Star" (alternate version from Madonna home video and The Immaculate Collection DVD) 5:04 - exclusive edit of New Mix "Lucky Star" (Celebration DVD) 3:56 - edit which is not the 7" version, Gold Disc 131 edit, Gold Disc 944 edit, Q-Sound mix or Celebration album mix "Into The Groove" 3:43 - edit of single version "Papa Don't Preach" 5:06 - extended ending with cold close instead of fade "Open Your Heart" 4:26 - you know it, you love it "Who's That Girl" 3:42 - early fade, but not really a big deal "Like a Prayer" 5:39 - according to MadonnaRemixology there's a video version, but it sounds just like the album version to me "Express Yourself" numero uno 5:00 - local mix intro + Shep remix/edit "Express Yourself" numero dos 4:25 - local mix intro + 7" remix "Express Yourself" (from Celebration DVD) 5:00 - local mix into but with the "zipper" synth sound at the beginning + remix/edit "Cherish" 4:34 - edit of album version "This Used To Be My Playground" 4:56 - first 12 seconds of album version edited off "Rain" 4:34 - edit of album version "Human Nature" 4:35 - door slam sample used to censor the word "shit", cold close instead of fade "Frozen" 5:21 - edit of album version, about 10 seconds longer than single version "Drowned World/Substitute For Love" 5:00 - edit of album version "What It Feels Like For a Girl" 4:21 - edit of Above & Beyond mix "Hollywood" 3:51 - like the radio edit, except it has a cold close instead of fade "Hung Up" 5:09 - edit of unmixed album version "Sorry" 4:45 - according to MadonnaRemixology there's a video version, but it sounds just like the unmixed album version to me Then you've also got things like "Dress You Up" and remix videos and karaoke videos.
