I think a lot of it comes down to the fact, we heard the demos. While I loved a lot of the demos, but they still sounded like they needed to be fleshed out more as well. What I've noticed with her most recent albums (and maybe it's been like this for much of her career), but she tends to get the vocals laid down, but her songs tend to find the sound and production after the fact.

I don't believe the song would have been as big as it was if it didn't have Justin and Timbaland on it. People were still hungry for a follow up album with Justin, so this appeased them.
Anyway, I agree that all of her albums are a collab in a way, because without the producer she wouldn't have done an album on her own or at least to the extent of all her albums have become.

Dylan Lioncourt reacted to ADONNA in Madonna: RareThis is not AI. It's an actual photo shoot from the 80's with obvious Airbrushing at the time.
-
Dylan Lioncourt reacted to ADONNA in Madonna: RareOr she could have just posed similar. Not a hard pose. Also hair looks like it's falling down some. I'm sure she made some changes and did similar poses.
-
Dylan Lioncourt reacted to ADONNA in Madonna: RareHer "hair"? None of it's fake. Yes, there is airbrushing from long ago to the pics, but nothing is AI to them. I have seen these exact pics in magazines I've bought earlier in her career.
-
Dylan Lioncourt reacted to Redha DBL in Madonna: RareI've said they are "fake pictures extensions made by ai" which doesn't mean the the pictures are fake, it's the extensions made by ai that are fake.
-
Dylan Lioncourt reacted to ADONNA in Madonna: RareThey're not fake. Not to say they haven't been airbrushed to death, but they are from actual photoshoots.

Dylan Lioncourt reacted to ADONNA in THE ORIGINAL MADONNA 1982 EVERYBODY VIDEO JACKET HAS BEEN UNCOVERED, AFTER BEING MISSING 42 YEARS .If I were her, I would want it now being it really is a piece of vintage history especially regarding her music videos. But at the same time, I can see why it may have been left behind. If it wasn't her jacket and she simply borrowed it for the shoot, it probably never crossed her mind to ask to keep it, even if she was allowed to do so. She certainly has had pieces of clothing throughout her career far more memorable to her and most definitely something she prefer to hold onto.
That being said, it deserves to be preserved in some setting, that displays her music history. Hopefully, whomever ends up with it, will do that.

Dylan Lioncourt reacted to ADONNA in THE ORIGINAL MADONNA 1982 EVERYBODY VIDEO JACKET HAS BEEN UNCOVERED, AFTER BEING MISSING 42 YEARS .What an awesome story. Thanks for sharing. If I were Madonna, I'd think I'd want the jacket back. Though, it probably belongs in a museum or one of the Hard Rock Cafe displays.

I highly doubt she had anything to do with the specific date that it's being released on. I'm sure that is just part of how the industry works. And I'm sure you know how "pre-orders" work, so I am not sure why you're surprised that we had to wait a couple months to get this. This isn't just something Madonna and her team does, this usually is the case for most artists who have a 'pre-order'. in fact, a lot of times, the time of the Pre-orders and the actual release of many albums usually are much longer than two months.

Dylan Lioncourt reacted to ADONNA in Madonna movie star (SPIN article)I have to agree with this. I always thought the huge thing she had going for her is "screen presence". While that doesn't guarantee a good film or performance from her, but I do think some of her acting credits are unfairly scrutinized. For instance, I thought she acted quite well in Shanghai Surprise. Her and and Sean's chemistry really showed there. It worked. It's just the film was awful. Then there is Who's That Girl. Again, a super cheesy and camp film but I thought she was great in that. Of course, her acting was all over the place in that film, but in a way, it worked for her character. Her acting in The Next Best Thing wasn't too bad either. Again, there were a combination of things that sorta made that film come off more awkward than bad. I still loved that film though. And then there is Body of Evidence, again there was so much potential there. There are times she is 'on' and then other times she's quite stiff and wooden. In many cases, it's how she speaks in some of these films that isn't always convincing. Anyway, she definitely put her all in many of the films she did. I think she just needs to relax and not take her self too seriously if she ever does another acting role.
I wonder if the short film "Flush" scheduled for this August is still a "go"?? It shows it's in Pre-Production at IMDb. Also, she's scheduled for an animated voice role in an Untitled Jean-Paul Gaultier/Benoit Philippon Animated Feature.
