In London at the show they have a telephone number showing in and telling you you message it to get a chance to be upgraded. But it was once you are there. Nothing you can't do before and I assume depends of the venue. I'm pretty sure they want the front stage to be filled, so likely to happened in non sold out nights

here's the number. you text it on whatsapp and have to enter a quiz (other fans have done this and said it's difficult, even with google)

you allegedly also need spotify as well, and some fans have said sending a selfie with a good outfit helps too. My show isn't until December but i'm keeping an eye on this
