omg i saw her irl i'm shook 
so when i saw that she's in Paris i wanted to ask y'all if she's still gonna be here today but instead i just passed by her hotel this evening and i saw a huge crowd and after waiting for like 10 minutes she came out with the teddy bear and it was surreal  she seemed very happy

The album is littered with obvious references to Madonna's past - the Vogue sample on Holy Water, the Justify My Love lyrics on Best Night, the cavalcade of song titles which make up Veni Vidi Vici; the title track's moving reflection on her life; it's also packed with allusions to Madonna's status as an ageing pop icon. On electro-folk tour de force Devil Prey she sings "Holding on, but I’m getting weaker/watch me disappear." Ghosttown, a Ryan Tedder-esque anthem which is probably the album's best chance of a hit, depicts a barren post-apocalyptic world and finds Madonna musing that "Everything's bound to break sooner or later." In the gorgeous Joan of Arc she sings "Even when the world turns its back on me/There could be a war, but I'm not going down." Album closer (standard version) Wash All Over Me is an elegiac ballad which seems self-explanatory given what I've written above:

Even Living For Love is clearly about her place in the world now. The most direct song is Queen which she apparently pulled at the last minute, perhaps because it was a bit too direct in acknowledging she wasn't on top of the heap anymore.

Madonna's Like a Prayer (choir version from "Deadpool & Wolverine") instrumental aor a cappella are up for Grammy consideration in the Best Arrangement category.

I reckon it would be an absolute nightmare - I have no doubt they are pitching amazing things to her and she's saying no to everything.

I would say maybe Stuart and her had been messing with stuff for awhile and since they seem to work better one on one, what they’ve been doing may be hush hush until now. Stuart May work very fast. Confessions wasn’t complicated by any means like the last few albums. Even with Mirwais, Madonna might eclipse him in personality and we know her perfectionism drags everything out. Maybe Stuart by passes that. Can’t wait though!

I can’t recall when this was shot, but I believe this was for the re-recording of Hung up with toki?, but Stuart has a bunch of other (and better) mics. And you’re right the NT2 is an entry level mic. This is the first time I see him bust this out since his interview back in the late 2000’s revealing it to be the mic used for confessions. Idk why they are hung up on this mic for this recording session but it’s clearly an Easter egg.
