No, I heard it with my own ears on the few videos I took... same on YouTube. It’s unfortunate but that’s how it is.
Glasgow sounded fine however, I loved Glasgow on the whole. Even power free Madonna at the end...

the sad thing was that those of us who went to the after party afterwards in some run down little club didn’t realise her and her team were apparently in the bar behind us having their end of leg party and it made the local press the day after!

Believe whatever you like. That's fine. You're the one getting irate, not I.

Well, if you're refusing to put us on ignore, that tells me three things:
    a) It says more about me than it does about you.
    b) You have issues with criticism of anything you like. You're obviously insecure.
    c) You feed on negativity and the need for an argument. I've said so much positive even in the last hour, but you haven't absorbed any of it.

    Wonderful.
If I actually was a troll, I'd probably say mission accomplished.
However, I'm not a troll, and don't get much of a kick out of irritating any of you unfortunately... but I do however enjoy discussing Madonna so... as you were

That's just it though, I've never lost interest in anything she's done, but I'm the type of person who thinks objectively about things... I don't endlessly praise and I don't ignore reality. I spent a lot of time praising the RHT when that started, praised S&S and Hard Candy... I even praised the MDNA album and we both know how unpopular that was.
But this era... it's interesting in that it's shown a complete downturn in M's commercial popularity. She's announced her biggest tour ever, with more consecutives half-sold shows than she's ever done... all on the back of an album that hasn't sold particularly well, hasn't made any impact with the general public, but has made a pretty decent impression on critics.

When something amazing happens this era, I'll sing it's praises. So far, nothing incredible has happened.
    Frozen was pretty neat.

Some of you get really defensive since. Madonna is a product, a brand. We are discussing a brand.

if you don’t like discussion on the workings of said brand, don’t join a forum.

oh and believe me, me and digital freak aren’t the same person. Separate sides of the Atlantic I’m afraid.
nice guy, (guy?), intelligent, strong minded. Quite respect the chap for his persistence in speaking about what he believes, but we aren’t the same person.

so yeah, theory dead. I was a member of Tribe since 2007 but requested my account disabling in July of this year due to growing tired of sycophants, and other members growing tired of my opinions, lmao.

I was referring to moving tickets between shows in the same city.
She did exactly that in 2009 in Manchester.
    Night One: Reasonably Well Sold.
Night Two: Sold apx 3000 tickets out of 14,000.
Cancelled Night Two and moved everyone that wasn't attending night one into seats on that first night.
The result? One reasonably well sold concert as opposed to one show with over half the seats filled and one show with only a quarter of the arena sold.

Don't be surprised if we see similar tactics in the next few weeks.

Well considering she's cancelled show after show in New York City, it seems pretty fair to discuss it here.

Certainly some tickets will sell, but there's no way on God's green earth will they sell bucketloads, not without massive reductions... I mean, sense would surely be to cancel a few shows and move concert-goers into the empty seats on other shows?
It's quite telling just how much people (and not just the GP) are willing to pay looking at how the cheap seats have all gone.

What would really help the tour now in the UK is ONE major UK performance. Xmas season is coming up, performances are available everywhere.

As an adult , I'd be questioning the mentality of a fully grown man that seriously refers to a singer as 'The Queen' with any degree of actual seriousness, and would probably question their self respect if they thought it was okay to have their time wasted by a singer who simply cant be arsed to do what more or less every other artist in the touring game does... which is get on stage on time.
I'll be buying my tickets the days before the show. If the lateness continues in the UK (which I doubt it will to the same extent), I won't be buying a ticket.

At the end of the day, if the rest of us turned up three hours late to work, what would the repercussion be?

If you worked in a job in which you provided a service, you’d certainly either instantly lose custom (like M has), or lose any chance of a recommendation.

Personally I’d rather she just sing competently and live. She’s been singing for nearly 40 years, she should be able to sing live now... especially as she no longer dances much.
Sorry, but to me the show looks very, very cheap. I like the setlist, I like the versions of the songs used, love the outfits, like how relaxed she seems... but the vocals are either phoned in or over manipulated and that’s sad. They should be the very heart of the show.

Yeah but Jackie that literally looks like a tribute show that you might find in a local social club in the UK, or a Madonna night at a gay bar.

I just can’t get over how it’s mostly just playback and love autotune.

2 songs with genuine raw vocals, and they’re both acoustic.

Some of this is way off, I have to say the original post is wrong regarding post GS.

DWT: All live except Sky Fits Heaven was mimed. Ray of Light was mimed on Opening Night, as was Nobody's Perfect. No pre-recorded backing vocals, just live backing singers.

RIT: Mimed = Vogue, Nobody Knows Me, American Life (partially), Die Another Day, Papa Don't Preach (after the first few), Into The Groove (after the first few). Live backing vocals (to an extent).

CT: Future Lovers (except opening night), Get Together (Mimed in Fresno only), Jump (partially mimed), Sorry, Music (many shows), Erotica, La Isla Bonita (Fresno only), Lucky Star (most shows), Hung Up (most European/Japanese shows).

S&S: All live, most songs with pre-recorded backing vocals, except Give It 2 Me which was mimed on some shows, as well as the first verse of Into The Groove. Four Minutes was NEVER lip synched.

MDNA: About half of the show.

Rebel Heart: Bitch I'm Madonna (kinda), Devil Pray (loud track), Music (live but barely), Unapologetic Bitch (live but barely), Holiday (possibly lip synched, sounds nothing like the rest of the concert).
