I’ve been really appreciating Hispanic Madonna lately. Like who else in mainstream music at the time (or before that) would have been able to seductively & openly say something in Spanish like “él dijo que te ama” in a single + bring Spanish/Latino culture forward in pop music and really commit to it? Ugh iconic!

@BringUrLUVOh yeah def! But like I meant a major MAJOR international POP STAR like MJ or Prince or Whitney or David Bowie who is not Hispanic at all! Madonna seems to have been one of the first few who really got into the Hispanic/Latino essence so to speak and I love that! But Gloria Estefan is def THE first Hispanic-American who put LATIN in pop music!

@thelioncourtheart_I am here for it! I want her to do a reggaeton/tropical track and have a verse or two with J Balvin! LOL! I would honestly live for it. Madonna + Latino culture is just too perfect! Her passion for the language also is admirable as was evident throughout her career (except Spanish Lesson ugh lol!)
