My problem with it is that I’ve never believed for a second it was tongue in cheek. She was dead serious about it in those Rebel Heart-interviews and spoke about it as if she had written a Shakespearean sonnet and no one was able to recognise that. I’m Going Bananas was tongue in cheek, but BIM was self-referential to death because she was a afraid the wider audience wouldn’t celebrate her as much as they did. She never sang so explicitly about herself before and the whole bitch thing has become very tiresome. With Erotica she managed to show the world that no one was to mess with her in a very subtle and sophisticated way. Ever since Hard Candy her supposedly ironic songs about herself, her age or her sexuality have rather trite lyrics and sound pretty desperate with all that „look bitches how my pussy is still moist“-crap.
Pre Hard Candy-Madonna would have burned down the studio if any producer had asked to record such a turd.

I think the song is cool and lots of people love it. But I truly f*cking hate it!!! It has nothing to do with the lyrics or her attitude (I love it). It just makes my ears bleed. I think it's because of the hyperpop genre (sounds like noise to me). And also the melody (?is it the right term ?), how she sings the first lines...

I daresay it’s one of her five worst songs. Sometimes I feel like Madonna goes into the studio thinking, “I’m going to record a horrible song, and I want to see who will dare tell me it’s bad. I’m Madonna, I can.” And with that mindset, she ends up creating tracks like BIM, Autotune Baby, B-Day Song, and Some Girls.

I hate these beats, and her vocals are extremely annoying on this. It’s so hard to believe the next track on the album is by the same woman. Hold Tight did not deserve to sit so close to this one.
