Do you have any sources that support your assertions? because as far as I'm concerned I don't want 2.0 versions of any of her past albums.

This has pretty much been my dream concept if they ever got back together. And Stuart is just the person to do it. Finally a 90's reference that isn't actually "Finally". No shade to Cece, but it's like the kids only know that and Barbie Girl. I'm hoping for more nods to the underground vs. Gypsy Woman. Again, no shade to Crystal but Katy Perry just did it. Take me to Club 69. X-Cuse Me. Witch Doctor. Etc.
If his DJ set for Celebration is anything to go by, we're in the best hands. I'm curious what if anything will be actually sampled vs. ~inspired by~.
I love that list they put out for Confessions. I'm surprised she never mashed/covered  "Supernature" with anything of hers for a tour. I did one with the Bedtime Story percapella years ago and they go together so well. Wish I could find it.

The charts are a joke these days and have been for a while.   Records sold simply should not be trumped by streaming.  That's why Madonna missed out on a number one album with Rebel Heart.  She outsold number one but was displaced from that spot by the streams for the Empire soundtrack.  Many od her singles have outsold charted hits as well.  Socio-sexual politics also comes into play.  Women are considered expendable as they age and avoided when they speak their minds while men are celebrated for almost anything.  Madonna also handles subjects that are controversial.  And let's be real, the "hits" are also bought and paid for by industry leadership.  Madonna has earned every single charted hit that she has (which has been a lot) while others pay for "passing go".  Personally, I do not care about hits anymore.   Instead, I want Madonna to tell her story, her way.   At least, she's not doing duets with Elton John or Tony Bennet.  Dear God!  I just love her, grilz and all.

With the dawn of a new era upon us and the completion of 10 years of the previous thread I figured we could start anew. A cleansing of the past, a blank sheet of paper. At least for this particular thread. 
 

February 23rd, 2020 | MXT in Paris
In the midst of the Batuka interlude, the music stopped and the lights went on. Everyone was wondering about what happened for like 5 minutes, until Madonna herself came to stage dressed in her Batuka blue outfit along with Gaspar Varela. 
She said “Okay, this is not how the show supossed to go. We're trying to adapt the show into this venue (Gran Rex) because is the smaller we've been in, and are having some problems. But until everything gets fixed… I'm here for you”.
Obviously, we gave her an ovation. And for like 10 or 15 minutes, she chatted with us, talked about Gaspar, her influences and her Portugal influences. She told a couple jokes and seemed very down to earth. 
She also sang The Sound of Silence during those minutes, almost acapella with just Gaspar playing the guitar. And a bit of other song that I can’t remember right now, but it was a cover.
The theater was full of brazilians screaming “gostosa”, so she joked about why did she had to make a video with Anitta. She was about to sing something else, if I remember correctly, but then received a signal that everything was fine again and said something like “phew, saved by the bell”. Came back to backstage, lights went off again and the show continued exactly from the moment when it was cut.
It was a technical problem, of course, but for some reason it was also amazing haha. It felt even more close than the beer bitch segment: unintentionally, she showed herself as a really fun and cool person. She also didn't seem mad about the problem, just kinda worried. But very professional to came on stage and explain the situation.
Also, the fact to have my phone locked really made me appreciate more that moment lol. It was a unique experience that I will forever remember.

Hardly abysmal, but I get it, you didn't like it.  But people going on like she's gonna actually stop making music or retire obviously do not know who Madonna is.  This woman ain't stopping.  It's unfortunate we haven't had a new studio album for five years, but it's not like we don't know she's been in the studio during those years. 
Cher was recently interviewed and asked if she was ever going to retire. She said "no".  She likes what she's doing.  I pretty much see Madonna the same way. The big difference; Madonna seems to have more ambition and still wants to shake things up.  That ain't a sign of her stopping anytime soon.

Though, more than not, especially on social media she shares images of herself where her hair is pulled back in braids.  Anyway, at the risk of you calling me a "pathetic and sensative M Zealot", I do really feel any post you make in the Madonna forums of this community are usually backhanded compliments of Madonna as well as putting fans down for just supporting and defending her.
@Mer Girl never said anything is wrong with "surgery scars", but you are the one who actually brought it up as if Madonna is insecure of such.  But again, she doesn't shy away in sharing some very unflattering images in social media, including images where her hair is pulled back.  If she has such scars she's trying to hide, I'd hardly think she'd be pulling her hair back for the world to see them. Obviously, she isn't really that bothered.
As for you final comment about "M zealots" being "pathetic and "overly sensitive"... go figure... I mean, after all YOU ARE AT A MADONNA FAN FORUM.  So of course, you'll come across fans who will take your comments to task. But I don't feel many are being "sensitive" here, rather they are just seeing how someone like you who goes out of their way to defend the hell out of other female artists in other sections of this forum, but have the audacity to accuse them of being exactly how you react and respond when defending Lady Gaga and other artists.  Smells a bit like a....
