Kathy Griffin put out a TikTok sticking up for Madonna, wishing her well, and calling out the detractors for ageism and misogyny. While I’m sometimes not on board with Madonna’s claims of these two things (and sometimes I am), I do think this is a moment where it’s bitingly obvious. She literally did nothing wrong here and nothing to deserve the hate she’s gotten. 

This news is just so out of the blue. It’s weird seeing these more human moments of vulnerability that make you see beyond the star. Fortunately, I saw Guy’s statement before the other one, so I didn’t worry too much. Of course, health is more important than any facet of her career. There’s really not much indication yet of how serious this is considering we don’t even fully know what kind of bacterial infection she got. I suppose we’ll have to wait for more detailed info. Knowing Madonna, this will light even more of a fire, but I hope she is also aware of her human limits and doesn’t push more than necessary. She’s a legend no matter what. 

I think Gaga’s currently somewhere between Madonna’s Rebel Heart tour and Madame X level of athleticism. Guess we’ll see.

Nobody else likes Reinvention? I really liked that one, except that official one where she acts like a mum talking in the middle. “That was good, but this time it has to be better.”

I like Mert and Marcus because their shoots are edgy without always being dark, like Klein. He seems to just have one aesthetic and one thing to say. Loved him in their early collaborations, but I think he's been bled dry.

To be honest… as much as she has said school teacher …
I think if she wasn’t a performer at all she would still be an artist of some kind or maybe even a writer. I think her drive always came from a need to express her thoughts and feelings and to make a difference in the world. She could have also have worked in fashion or something else creative or maybe as a dance teacher. While she’s a great business woman I don’t think she’s someone who would be passionate about business alone. She’s an artist at her core.

She's been asked... she usually comments; "Teacher", even though she joked about being a NUN when she was younger.  Her mom's death really was a huge influence on whom she became.  Again, she claims she wouldn't probably be an entertainer if her Mom didn't die when she was a young child.  I can see how that could really affect a person.  I do think she probably could have been a teacher. 

Yes - it’s very difficult. But don’t lose hope. Things can change. It’s crazy how much it costs to raise a child now. My brother does quite well and he is constantly surprised at how much things for his kids cost. 
 
There was a time I thought I might like to adopt if I had a partner who wanted to as well. However I think I’ve changed my mind on this not just because of the costs, but because I realized how much I love animals, so I’d like to have a little animal sanctuary one day. 

What’s so bad about adopting? I think it’s so beautiful she gave these kids a chance at a life they never would have been able to have, and she keeps them connected to their home families and involves them in doing charity work there. We don’t know too much about the twins yet, but David and Mercy both seem to be grateful to her. I find it to be beautiful. I’m sure the paperwork was stressful, but so is pregnancy and childbirth.

Dude, everyone picks sides. Deal with it.  It's not like she's wishing harm on anyone. She wants to see peace and that's what matters.
