Thank God the details of the release are finally out. Can't say I'm thrilled with the bonus features. She spends all that time editing and teasing on IG only to include an "excerpt" from Tears of a Clown? And why is Like A Prayer the only extra song? I think we've had plenty of that song on the last three tours. Why not Ghosttown? or Take A Bow?? TAB wasn't performed on ANY of the tours until this one! Missed opportunity. But I'm glad we're finally getting a release. It's about time.
 
I'm just relieved about the DVD cover. It's her best live cover in years!!

I was coming here saying even though we are a bit disapointed TAB, LDLHA and others are not part of the release, we should be happy to still have the show on bluray/dvd. I ordered it myself. But now, I feel angry that they have decided to add Take A Bow for the Japan bonus when we should all have it !!!!

So, we only need now another international version with Love don't live here anymore and the show will be complete!
 
Take a bow would be great, even if it's a bonus.

The first time she performed TAB was the full version then following performances were shorter and cut bits.
 
And how does it not fit? A matador outfit in a Spanish section, echoing the video's imagery performing a song during her "request/surprise song' section.

Who understands her anyway?  She was desperate in the 90s to get a #1 and when she finally got it (7 consecutive weeks on the top spot) she avoided the damn hit til 2016 when she finally included it in the tour starting in Taipei, Taiwan. 

I am seriously dissapointed. I know, at least we're getting a 'complete' DVD unlike RIT and BAT, but I really don't get why it's so hard to simply record the show in one city and stop adding fake crowd noises and footage from different shows where she wears different costumes. We are probably the only fanbase that has to worry about the live releases being shit (I know, many artists don't even release tour DVDs, but the artists who do manage to make at least the audio sound normal).
 
She should have done it this way:
 
Record the final shows (and only those shows!) in Sydney, release the whole concert (including speeches and the special performances), add behind-the-scenes footage and document her return to Australia after more than 20 years (she could explain how she feels returning to the country etc.), plus a Tears of a Clown bonus dvd (Either the whole thing or just highlights).
 
The fact that she added the Sticky & Sweet Tour Buenos Aires crowd singing Like a Virgin over the Rebel Heart Tour performance is simply senseless. I can tell by the videos I've watched that the Sydney crowd was very energic and loud. Also, at one minute it sounds like there are like 100.000 people in the audience, at the other minute it sounds like there are only teenagers screaming, it's so confusing.
 
The Confessions Tour audio was amazing. Why doesn't she work like that anymore? She must know that fans were unhappy with the way she edited the MDNA show, and honestly, the Rebel Heart show edit wasn't much of a difference.
 
Don't get me wrong, I love her, and I am very happy that she keeps releasing her shows on DVDs, I love her work, but this really pisses me off.

I had forgotten about Lucky Star! There's no possible explanation for that one either. I remember it wasn't included in the Confessions Tour NBC special but was later released on DVD but without the dialogues. As for Everybody, Madonna stopped doing that song like in the 4th or 5th stop of the tour so it's understandable it won't appear on the DVD. 
 
Madonna, just add Who's That Girl, Like a Prayer, Take a Bow, Crazy For You, and Ghosttown as extras and you will be forgiven for everything you haven't done in the last 35 years 

It's kind of embarrassing how difficult it is for her to include extra footage on her DVDs with songs/backdrops performed on other stops of the tour if THE FANS, the people who have always supported Madonna along the way ARE HUNGRY for it. Why the selfishness? We buy her records, we pay her expensive tickets, we always take care of her legacy on social media and discussion boards... but it seems it's never enough. 
 
Angel, Borderline, and Burning Up (3 hit singles ffs!) were missing in the Virgin Tour VHS/Laserdisc release. The Blond Ambition Tour never really got a wide international release, Laserdiscs were expensive at the time therefore the format died before we even realised about it. We all had to get used to the Truth or Dare footage that ignored half of the songs performed in concert. Same case with the Re-invention Tour 14 years later... Now, in 2017 with all the technology available and music sales practically dead it continues to be difficult for her to LISTEN.
 
Madonna used to be known for getting ahead of the times in terms of how the industry developed, then suddenly got stuck around 2007 and decided to follow trends here and there til these days, but some of us continue defending her by saying she does what she wants but let me tell you something: I believe she only listens when circumstances are in her favor. When I complain other big artists and lesser known acts reissue their back catalogue with incredible extra material is for a reason, and it's because they already know the only way to get their sales afloat is by listening to their audience. Why the heck do you think vynil has become a thing now? Not because of record labels imposing the rediscovery of this old format but BECAUSE THE FANS ARE HUNGRY. 
 
Madonna, if you want your audience to continue spending money on your releases you better open your eyes (or ears and listen carefully!). It's not our fault your last album got leaked way ahead of its studio completion. It was because you neglected your security in the first place and trusted the wrong people.
 
Whatever. I will buy the bluray and double live CD but only because it's Madonna and a new physical release always look good in the shelf. Same reason I bought 3 different formats of the horrid Celebration collection.
 

I'm 47 and am always surprised that there are still younger people at the shows. I first saw her in 1987 at the WTGWT. I think personally she should stop trying so hard to be relevant or working with the likes of Niki M to get a younger audience. Just continue to make great pop songs if people like it then great!

If you don't like her live singing, then listens to the studio mixes.
If you don't like the editing of the film, watch a bootleg.
 
If you don't like the cover, but the digital format.

I miss when she used to record a DVD in one single city. An edit from more than 10 different shows will always look a mess (for example video quality switch from professional cameras [sydney] to B-roll footage from a random show). She doesn't even say the name of a city before BIM or after Holiday.   It just doesn't feel "real". 

I'd much prefer that as the cover than any Aldo Diaz abomination
