Well I’m with you then, I really loved RH and I truly think that Madame X is a wonderful album, i don’t mean to start fan wars but as the same time we were enjoying Madame X, Kylie released her Disco album, I did enjoyed that one as well and love KM, but thought to myself thank God we have Madonna who asks us to think and challenge the audience, I wouldn’t want to live in a world without Medellin (a terribly underrated song) Dark Ballet or God Control.

I am happy with good songs with a classic M melody and hook that are not too in the moment trends, MX was amazing but a little rushed at the end and some fusion just did not work for harmonious album but we got some great songs and visuals, esp Dark Ballet, Crazy.
Only expectation is quality, which is why the VE project is so underwhelming and a bad indicator for legacy releases

Same here. Well said. Of course, I don't have to LOVE everything, but I still enjoy it no matter what. Also, I appreciate that she doesn't just keep releasing the same type of music album after album. I love how she takes chances and collaborates with these people that aren't always going to score her a huge hit.
