As if Steven Klein would post it without M's approval... even during regular times but let alone now given the situation and the context of the party... Of course she would not post it herself on her own insta account, it would look too obvious and most of all silly next to her quarantine diaries and all her #stayhome #socialdistancing hashtags (cause yes mind you she keeps on using them even today...). She knows it would be everywhere the minute after Steven poster them. Some fans don't seem to realise that for a couple of years M use instagram for a kinda new kind of promo ; bad promo. She knows she's not on top of her career anymore and anyway when the press talks about her nowadays, most of the time it's to trash her so she uses it to her advantage ; to stay in the headlines news and always be the hot topic. It started with that pic of Rocco and her friends some years ago holding alcohol bottles when he was like 17 or something... since then she never stopped posting upsetting stuff deliberately. As she once said "I don't care if people talk good or bad about me, what matters is that they talk about me". First the "i'm covid 19-antobodies positive" and the sentence "i'm gonna breath the covid-19 air" that shocked a lot of people and she was all over the celebrity news for a week. Now the Klein birthday and here we go, a new round of headlines for one more week... Madonna's need for attention will never be in quarantine, never. That's also what made her where she is now, she understood the power of going viral decades before internet.

This is one of the stupidest things I have read on this form in a long time. 
I am not immune compromised so I know that if I catch the virus there is a good chance that I will be fine, but not everything revolves around me. I can still catch the virus and spread it to other people. Who cares if grampa dies? Or the neighbour's 10 year-old kid with cancer? As long as I can go out and be "free". 

You are missing a very important thing. I am not discussing her ass, i am discussing tye fake stuff she has put on her ass, not her body. Those things she has on her ass cheeks (implants, padding whatever you like to call it) is not a part of her body, it's something material she decided to put on her body. Same as the grills. It's an outside element she deciced to put on her body to make it look more beautiful. Huge difference here. There are no difference between adding a metal grills on your teeth or to put cotton pads or sillicone implats on your bum cheeks. In both case it's a material, not natural element you put on a part of your body. In both cases you can take them off if you want. So why is it ok to discuss the grills she puts on her teeth but not the stuff she puts on her bum ?

And I don't know about you, but I can't even bring myself to watch a full "diary" she posts. I either feel embarrassed or shock that this is what has happened to her or what is going on in her head. I just can't believe this is the same person from the Rebel Heart tour. I caught a clip on youtube of I'm going to tell you a secret when she quotes about what she thinking before she was thinking.... I have no idea what has happened to her but this is not how I thought she would be at this stage. I always imagined a complete u-turn to complete diva truth or dare or the down to earth Madonna, or even a mixture of Bette Davis/Madonna persona but it's like aliens have taken over her body. It's not even narcissistic now, it truly comes across as she has lost the plot and has reached the point of now being completely out of touch with reality and the thing she has managed to dodge all these years - irrelevant. These "diaries" are so out of touch with what people are relating to or listening to or wanting to hear.

No.   Liz has retired.  She's on a roll of mediocrity when she's not on stage.  With no one to tell her to shut her trap.

Congratulations to Madonna for posting her most stupid message yet on social networks, and that's saying a lot.  What a freegin' idiot she can be sometimes.  

Other artists are recording home performances... Such a shame she can't just do that... but it wouldn't be 'artsy' enough.

Impressive instant wouldn't have had any success at all. I think Madonna should have given up and allow Warner to release Amazing, and then push for Impressive instant. Because she acted like a spoiled brat, Music only got 3 singles. 

If it's indeed a Doc, going by the Instagram diaries I think I'll pass... Either way if we get the whole show it'll be as bad edited (mutilated, actually) as the last three, I can hear the horrible overdubbed vocals already

I have to agree, it wasn't a theatrical show. It was a concert in a theatre. As for it for being for the fans, load of crap. It was the most rigid show she has done in a long time and yes the knee/hip injury plagued the tour, but did she even acknowledge or interact/wave/sign autographs at entering or leaving the venues for the fans who waited at any of the shows? Not from any footage that I have seen. Lastly, it is worrying that this was classed as scaled down "show" with the ticket prices that were charged. I dread to think what price would have been set if this had been produced like a broadway theatrical show.

That’s the problem, it wasn’t like actual theater or even something intimate and “for the fans”, it was more like a low budget version of the big shows. I don’t see scaled down as an excuse for uninspired. There are so many theaters that are elaborate and planned better than having two stars and a projector and a high school play cosplay pirate outfit for an opener that they want us to think is George Washington.

Sad in a sense that we could've had a bigger budget production and a more elaborate representation of the ideas of the album and a bigger global reach. Also more revenue for her means her still being a profitable investment for more big budget works and good press and a testament of her own power.
We like to keep telling ourselves that sales don't matter, they don't always matter, yes but in order for an artist to continue to create, in order for elaborate visuals and outstanding fashion, marketing and efforts to be funded, sales and financial success matters very much, and as you can see, Madame X was plagued with low budget production, both as a tour and as budget for visuals, artworks, and even photo shoots and magazine features.
This era was great musically, yes but in terms of presentation and marketing, it fell flat and now that she's no longer in contract with Live Nation, I'm not one bit sure what the next step will be, nor am I optimistic about it, judging by these standards.
Madonna is a legendary artist, the best of the best, but she's been wasting a hell lot of great opportunities.
