Not a huge fan of this concept for M - I prefer grandiose shows instead of intimate settings for The Queen Of Pop - but I'd like to hear the hits that she never performed on tour before.
    "Dear Jessie" (UK #5)
"Rescue Me" (US #9, UK #3)
    "Bad Girl" (UK #10)
"This Used To Be My Playground" (US #1, UK #3)
    "I'll Remember" (US #2, UK #7)
    "Bedtime Story" (UK #4)
"Don't Cry For Me Argentina [Miami Mix]" (US #8, UK #3)
"The Power Of Good-Bye" (US #11, UK #6)
    "Nothing Really Matters" (UK #7)
    "American Pie" (UK #1)
"What It Feels Like For A Girl" [Original Version] (UK #7)
    "Hollywood" (UK #2)
Maybe throw in "You'll See", "Take A Bow", "I Want You" and "Ghosttown" for good measure.

It would have been beautiful, a different tour
the beginning would have been dancers mimicking sexual choreography with a musical Mashup between "Justify My Love", "Erotica" & "Rescue Me", where Madonna is rescued by other dancers subjected to a similar type of sodomy as in the song video "Human Nature" after the dancers of sodomy let her pass to sing "Survival" singing along with her two vocalists sitting in the same chair of the previous performance, once finished she would have greeted the public making reference that this is a different show to the previous one of "The Girlie Show", to later sing "True Blue" in a romantic version accompanied by piano and its vocalists and then end with "Don't Stop" in a way moving between them three and then move on to a " interlude "where an instrumental piano of the song" Promise To Try "would have played with an act of drama of the dancers when performing the scene of a pantheon simulating sadness and then singing" Edge rlinne "also with a piano and romantic acoutic alone while they pass through its back walls with photographs of her personal life, then sit on a sidewalk and interpret" Secret "in advance of a few words I say there is no perfect show to do it tonight , they would play "Take A Bow" and then be accompanied by "Bad Girl" and end the act with "Love Tried To Welcome Me" where a second interlude would come with a soft instrumentation of "Express Yourself" while boys and girls leave as a private bar type the one that would be behind serving the drinks would be Madonna to continue singing the song of the interlide already with a bit of jazz mixed, to later sing "Open Your Heart" continuing the jazz song and say again words like "they are liking the show and then putting on to sing "Santuary" and "Forbidden Love" and then go to a final interlude where it would begin with sounds "Papa Don't Preach" and "Who's That Girl" with an instrumentation and with a d plot of a girl traveling from Seatle to New York appearing Madonna and saying that that girl is me. and the public would applaud her with so much emotion to interpret "Like A Virgin" with a drums and chaotic instrumentation and then interpret "Bedtime Story" ending with an amazing scenery and a tense dance thus ending our Reyna's Show "The Night with Madonna" such Once I could perform "La Isla Bonita" in some cities or sing "Santa Baby" if the show is close to Christmas. That would be my imagination

I actually love the fact that there was not a tour. The break and 2001 live return after so long... and in the 2001 music industry before the current state of things, created such a magical excitement in the press.

I am glad she postponed it because her vocal delivery during the live performances of the Ray Of Light era was really affected and that always made me cringe. It's amazing how she recovered her vocal delivery for the Music era. And that's the voice we were all able to hear at the Drowned World Tour.

NothingReallyMatters reacted to Bitch I’m Madonna in A Greatest Hits Tour After Madame X?
    Honestly...only under a few conditions:
It's not a PURE greatest hits tour. There are a lot of hits that she never performed or has forgotten about. It's time to shed some light on those. It follows a storyline and isn't just a loose bunch of random songs thrown together. I'm here for medleys if that means making room for more than just 22 songs. The songs will have to be rearranged. Kevin Antunes has been serving really whack album version remakes for the last two tours. Let Diplo, Mike Dean or Stuart Price handle the tour arrangements.

NothingReallyMatters reacted to Voguerista in Madonna In Time's List Of Most Influentual Women Of The Century
Madonna made Time's list of the most influential women of the past century. So deserving. Read more below....
100 Women Of The Year: World 1989: Madonna
By 1989, Madonna, the scrappy performer born Madonna Louise Ciccone, was already a superstar: she’d whirled onto the landscape, in a torn-up T-shirt and two wrists’ worth of rubber bracelets, just as America was awakening to the AIDS crisis, and for young people became a symbol of determination and self-invention. She had defied our expectations so many times. How many surprises could she have left up her lace sleeves?
The bombshell answer came in the form of a hymn of joyous carnality, “Like a Prayer,” the lead single and title track of her fourth studio album. In the video, Madonna—sending a marvelously mixed message of purity and seduction in a 1950s-style slip, a discreet cross sparkling around her neck—spreads her gospel of joy and erotic ardor within the sacred confines of a country church. A statue of a saint, presumably Martin de Porres—he’s a black man locked in his own little cage, a not-so-metaphorical prison—comes to life and kisses her gently on the forehead. This could be the start of a mutual seduction, but he leaves her. She seizes a dagger and wraps her fingers around the blade, though the resulting cuts aren’t the normal kind: stigmata flower in the palms of her hands like two bloody pennies.
Pepsi had used “Like a Prayer”—accompanied by tamer imagery—in a commercial. But the video cast the song in a new light, and religious groups were enraged. Pepsi canceled her contract in response. Yet Madonna’s allegedly blasphemous act of creation carried her all the way to the bank: “Like a Prayer” spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album on which it appeared went on to sell more than 15 million copies. Even more significantly, this close-to-perfect song marked Madonna as an artist in it for the long haul, one whose marriage of provocation and pop would inspire future generations to shape their careers in her image. She couldn’t be underestimated or circumscribed, least of all by a multibillion-dollar corporation. She was a material girl, always, but only on her own terms. —Stephanie Zacharek

Do you want to see with colors "Oh, Father", "Vogue", "Justify My Love", etc, in the future when this A.I. will be better?
