Betacam tapes were still heavily used in the 2000's till March 2016 so these are actual files they used for the tours. Somebody did mention here why these are not Digital Betacam tapes (which were significantly cheaper and better in performance), i can only imagine at that time with the tour's visual representation was ahead of its time, behind it all was an analog setup.  The digital copies that Veneno inc provided we're not even in HD due to file sizing and digital storage in the early 2000's were very limited, they have to bring super computers with them to support that. hence the use of broadcasting tapes. if i'm not mistaken, this was the same for the confessions tour.
 
The price however, i cannot justify. it's ridiculously pricey.

I was gonna say the same thing. This is going to be a task to transfer. The Betacam master tapes are huge.This would require a Betacam player just to play it. Otherwise, transfer the film to a Betamax cassette and play it with a Betamax player.
I just asked the seller if could provide a sample clip of the footage within the tapes. Possibly one of the reasons why we never get the HD leaks of the backdrops from drowned world to Confessions, most are taken out of beta copies.

Sellers response was this :
"IF you are absolutely serious in obtaining the very rare set, I can bring a tape to a sound and video engineer to have some screen shots taken for you."
I doubt the seller has serious buyers for this until some legit samples are provided. They obviously just slapped the price in without any judgement.

I think the reason behind this oddity has something to do with what the album title implies during this unsettling climate we're in. It's sort of a "show your loyalty" gesture to humble the artist. But I don't think this is going anywhere in the end. One can hope that she would see this as an inspiration to make another album "like"  Bedtime Stories, but I highly doubt that.
However, its good to see fans getting together putting a classic album into the spotlight, digitally. Bedtime Stories is one of my Top 3 Madonna albums.

Just finished watching the documentary and what a trip down memory lane since Madonna was all over the news in 2006. Such a good reminder how that year was a setting stone for EDM trends later. The use of LED was relatively new for mainstream artist (but not for Madonna, shes been using it since DWT and Music Era) To have Daft Punk and Madonna introduce it with such fashion paved way to what is considered to be the norm now for any concert or music festival. I think what really set it up further was that people were sharing their videos via Youtube which was still brand new at that time. Then later showcased a lot of amateur clips of the Confessions Tour which was one of the first big concerts to be shared and streaming within the platform. That and U2's Vertigo tour.

Its such a rare treat to see performances from the early to mid 2000's in HD. I wouldn't be surprised if they pointed out how the dance tent back in 2006 had more buzz than the headliners especially between Madonna and Daft Punk.
